Aptly named Mendip View says what it does on the tin, with most of the principle rooms and balconies orientated to catch the south-east- facing panorama across unspoilt countryside.

When the weather allows, there's three-quarters of an acre of sloping, landscaped garden, and when it doesn't, you've still got the conservatory, where bifolding doors open to the patio.

The property, which lies 9.7 miles from Bath, 5.5 miles from Bristol and three miles from Keynsham, was built in the Thirties, but has been transformed by the current owners. Besides the main house, there's also a studio and air-conditioned gym on one wing and a two-storey annexe on the other, plus a self-contained office converted from an outbuilding.

Good quality materials, such as marble kitchen surfaces and oak flooring, provide luxurious touches, while decor throughout is bright and contemporary. There's also an integrated speaker system.

On one side of the hall is the huge sitting room, with wood-burner and exposed beams. At one end is the conservatory, which in turn opens via bi-folding doors to the patio.

The dining room is connected to the kitchen/breakfast room via a wooden stable door. Among the bespoke kitchen units is a range cooker with halogen hob, a dishwasher, microwave and combination oven.

Another reception room, or bedroom (with en suite) plus a cloakroom and utility room complete the ground floor of the main house

Upstairs are three double bedrooms the master with walk-in wardrobe, balcony and en suite and a very smart family bathroom.

From the sitting room is access to the ground floor of the annexe a large living space with corner bar with a bedroom and shower room above.

Glass Enclosures

We offer glass enclosures in two roof designs - your choice - gable or shed.

Color choice white or bronze on structural 1/8" thick aluminum frame - 16mm double wall polycarbonate installed on roof - 72" x 96" sliding glass doors with screens in front and side walls - 1/4" tempered glass in gable ends, shed ends and in front and side walls where sliding glass doors are not installed.

Glass Enclosures with Retractable Roofs

We also offer glass enclosures with a retractable roofs. The roof set up is with a 3" insulated roof panel 48" wide that goes around the perimeter of roof with a 12" overhang and comes with a gutter, fascia and downspouts. A 16mm polycarbonate double wall roof is installed on top and split in half with the top side retracting over the bottom.

Well-covered Claude Leggett aimed a steady stream of paint at the north wall of the Leeds Theatre as painting got underway by Simpson and Sons, painting contractors of Lexington.
