The same holds true for outdoor kitchens. Grill Master Wayne Paul knows his way around a man cave and as a KCBS Certified Barbecue Judge, he knows what makes a winning recipe.

These grills work well within outdoor kitchens, which not only make cooking easier but also increase the value of a home. From refrigerators to kegerators to ice machines and warming drawers, Bay Breeze Patio features the tools to make the outdoor kitchen as functional as its indoor counterpart.
Pauls passion for grilling led to the inaugural Eggs on the Beach Big Green Egg barbecue competition held at Seascape Resort in September 2014. The event drew 25 cook teams and raised $9,100 for the Fisher House of the Emerald Coast, which provides a home away from home for military families during medical treatment.Due to the events success, Kiley and Paul are planning the second annual EggFest for Sept. 26, 2015.

The Western Reserve Port Authority has approved a $25,000-per-year contribution for three years to the effort by the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber to hire someone to avoid closure or reductions at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna.
John Boccieri, a former congressman, squadron commander at the base and a port authority board member, abstained from voting on the measure.
He received an opinion from the Ohio Ethics Commission last month indicating he should fully withdraw from consideration of matters before the authority that will affect [the Air Force Reserves] interests.

A horse wanders its pen March 12 at Four Mile Historic Park. The park is gearing up for spring and summer events. (Seth McConnell, YourHub)
Four Mile Historic Park has been celebrating Denver's oldest structure since the late 1970s, but Estee Fraitag remembers when the historic home had shag carpets and orange countertops.
"When I was a kid, we used to sneak over before it was a museum and peek in the windows," said Fraitag, now a volunteer at the park.
The old house, which was built in 1859 with an addition in 1883, is now a frontier park that is a tourist destination and educational outlet for thousands of schoolchildren each year, and the site is offering some fun activities for children and adults heading into the spring and summer.
The newest event is an Independence celebration on July 2 at the park, 712 S. Forest St., that goes along with the city of Glendale's fireworks
Previously, the celebration which includes old-time games, wagon rides, demonstrations and live music was on July 4.
"We wanted to dovetail with the fireworks and make it a community event," Four Mile Historic Park executive director MacKenzie Pacifico said. "Glendale is a young community and it's a way to serve them."
But the park also offers a wide variety of events such as daily tours Wednesday through Sunday, many school events throughout the week and day camps in the summer.
Children especially enjoy the stagecoach wagons.

NEED TO UPGRADE?: Having a plan, starting early on materials and working with good people can save thousands of dollars and immeasurable stress during a kitchen remodel.
When you meet with a designer in the kitchen department of a big home improvement store be sure to sit down otherwise the price might knock you over.
Here's 10 tips on how you can save money on your kitchen project, and turn your effort into a positive gain in home equity - all without sacrificing quality.
1. Start with your design
Figure out the layout you want for your kitchen.
A simple and sleek design will appeal to most buyers and helps to keep your costs down. And remember, keeping your existing layout is always cheaper too.
Avoid moving plumbing and electrical items if possible at least try to keep your stove (especially gas stoves) and sink in the same location.
Moving a gas stove will require relocating gas lines and moving your sink plumbing can create additional problems. They also require additional permits and time.
Also, try to pick an overall theme country, modern, rustic, etc. This will help you select materials and ensure everything comes together properly. Have a good idea of the look you want before you go into a design center or talk to contractors.

Mr HomeBuilder
Red Bull announced this week that Red Bull Flugtag, the event that features teams building human-powered extravagant crafts and then flying off into the water, will return to Waterfront Park on Aug. 1.
The first 500 team applications before May 12 will be considered. The brave and brainy teams of five can enter their crazy flying concepts through an application found at redbullflug tagusa.com. Pilots must be 18 years or older. Past applicants have used inspiration such as their favorite food, pop culture, technology and mythology.
On competition day, each team takes a leap off a 28-foot-high flight deck, trying to fly as far as they can, powered only by team members. The world record stands at 258 feet; teams will be judged on distance, but also creativity and showmanship.
Red Bull Flugtag previously stopped in Portland in 2004 and 2008, drawing crowds in the many thousands.
More info can be found at http://www.redbullflugtagusa.com or on Twitter (@redbullPDX, #flugtag).
