Harmon Cove is an abandoned train station in the Harmon Cove section of Secaucus, New Jersey. The station was a former stop on the Bergen County Line which runs from Hoboken Terminal to Suffern. Train service was discontinued in 2003 when Secaucus Junction was opened.

The station was built to serve the gated community known as Harmon Cove which was developed in the 1970s with townhouses and highrise residential buildings.[1][2][3] The station was built adjacent to the development at Meadowlands Parkway[4] for $150,000. The station opened on June 26, 1978,[5] to serve the community. The station had a 100-car parking lot and could shelter 50 passengers.[6] The station closed on August 4, 2003, in anticipation of the opening of Secaucus Junction station. To allow Bergen County Line and Pascack Valley Line trains to stop there, a curving track was built between the HX Draw at the Hackensack River and the Main Line north of Secaucus Junction. This station was located on a section of the old Erie Main Line.[7][8][9]

To replace train service, a bus shuttle, was implemented, running between Harmon Cove and Secaucus, connecting with Bergen County Line trains.[10] This shuttle was operated by Academy Express and was labeled bus route 972.[11] This route was replaced by route 129 on April 3, 2004.[12] This station had been the only privately financed and constructed rail station in New Jersey.[13]

For years and years, we battled trying to get the exterior of our windows clean. They just never looked crystal clear. A filmy residue and often chalky streaks would remain once the windows dried. We tried a variety of window cleaners from homemade to store bought concoctions, as well as using newspaper instead of paper towels with not much success.

That all changed when we learned about the best exterior window cleaner ever.

We had been working on updating a bathroom and ordered some new mirrors. While the glass guys were here installing the mirror, my husband, Randy, got to chatting with them, as he usually does, about how their business was going. During their conversation he happened to ask them what they use for cleaning glass. Did they have any professional tips or tricks? Yes, they did!

They shared a simple recipe for what they have found to work. They swore by it. We had already tried just using a simple combination of vinegar and water, but they learned a trick from a commercial window cleaner: add a little dish detergent to the vinegar/water mixture. Really? That simple? It was new to us, and it sounded much too easy.

So we tried it (or should I say Randy tried it) right away. Randy set out just to test a few windows and the next thing I knew he had worked all the way around the house, and was already working on some of the upstairs windows as well. There was an immediate difference, and so much easier than what we had tried in the past.

It was so bright inside we had to wear shades. I crack myself up.

The mixture below, is super simple and used with a soft bristle brush and hose. Thats it. No more piles of used paper towels, no ladders, just clarity. Im planning on trying the same mixture on all kinds of things outside that need de-grungifying.

2 cups water1/4 cup white vinegar1/2 teaspoon dish detergent

What Randy did:

For starters, he made a whole bucket of the solution.Using a soft bristle scrub brush on an extension pole handle thingy, dip the brush in a bucket of the solution, and scrub it on the window.Before it has a chance to dry, spray/rinse it off with clean water. Be sure to rinse thoroughly. A hose fitted with a sprayer attachment was helpful.

In 2004 twin brothers Dan and Tom Searle started the band, originally named "Counting The Days". Sam Carter who at the time was an active drummer in several other projects, joined the band in 2007. With their second record RUIN (2007) (the first in which Sam was involved) they sparked interest from bigger labels and in 2008 were signed as a part of the Never Say Die! Tour, supporting bands such as Parkway Drive. Only a year later they headlined the UK dates of said tour.

With other releases such as HOLLOW CROWN (2009) and LOST FOREVER // LOST TOGETHER (2014) the Architects fandom grew, many tours throughout North America, Australia and Europe followed. In their song 'C.A.N.C.E.R' guitar player Tom Searle referenced his cancer condition (of which they hadn't shared publicly until after his death). After he was declared cancer free after leg surgery in 2013, the cancer unfortunately returned.

On August 21st 2016, three months after the release of their seventh studio record ALL OUR GODS HAVE ABANDONED US as well as the cancellation of an US headliner tour "due to a family emergency", drummer Dan Searle shared the sad news of his brother's passing in a Facebook post. "I dont know what will become of Architects", he wrote, "We will not release any music unless we truly believe that it is something that Tom would have been proud of."

Two years later this is exactly what Architects have achieved: Accompanied by the single 'Hereafter' they announced the pending release of HOLY HELL, the first record without founding member Tom.
