An Enoree man is charged with cruelty to children after a plumber working at the mans home told deputies he saw the man abuse his daughter Wednesday morning.

Tony Lynn Gross, 34, of 1470 Rocky Ridge Road is being held on $500 bond at the Spartanburg County jail.

According to a Spartanburg County Sheriffs Office incident report, the plumber heard Gross cursing at his four children throughout the morning.

As the plumber was finishing his work, he noticed Gross pick up his 7-year-old daughter by the face and throw her into a room, according to the report.

He called the Sheriffs Office after leaving, and deputies arrived to investigate, the report states.

Deputies took Gross into custody after a verbal argument. He was transported to the jail for booking.
