How to Draw HMS VIctory
HMS Victory was the Flagship of Admiral Lord Nelson, who fought the French at the Battle of the Nile and more famously at the Battle of Trafalgar, where he was shot and fatally wounded. If you go to the maritime museum In Portsmouth, you can go on board and see the very spot where Nelson fell and see what has become almost a shrine to the man below decks where he died. It #39;s a magnificent ship and well worth the visit. Here is a somewhat speeded up tutorial showing how I planned and drew the picture. With award winning illustrator, Shoo Rayner, who has illustrated well over 200 children #39;s books for famous authors and for his own stories. See Shoo #39;s books on amazon.com amzn.to and on amazon.co.uk amzn.to T-Shirts http://www.shoorayner.com Twitter twitter.com Google+ plus.google.com Facebook http://www.facebook.com Website http://www.shoorayner.com music by http You can send stuff to: Shoo Rayner PO BOX 65 Coleford GL16 9BD UK Follow Shoo #39;s other channels http://www.youtube.com for short snappy lessons and http://www.youtube.com for chat, advice, techniques and interviews with other great artists and illustrators. I use a Rotring Tikky Graphic 0.3 pen and copic ciao marker pens. The paper is fairly cheap drawing cartridge or bristol paper.
