Seaside At 30
From the conference "Seaside at 30: Lessons from the First New Urbanist Community and the Future of Traditional Town Building" held on Sept. 29, 30, and October 1, 2011 at the School of Architecture. Keynote speakers included Dean Michael Lykoudis, Robert Davis, Lon Krier, and Andrs Duany. #39;Seaside at 30 #39; looks at the founding of this seminal work in the history of urban design mdash;the planning, the creation and testing of the code, and early building designs. It will examine the successes and failures of Seaside by bringing together the architects, planners, and builders who created it.
