Around the time of the Waldo Canyon Fire here in Colorado Springs Colorado (June 2012) we had a very unusual plumber make a house call. This young Black Bear decided he would use our decorative pond as his personal cooling off swimming pool. However, he quickly found that the pond was not big enough due to some pesky items at the bottom of the pool. That is when he decided to do some impromptu plumbing and electrical work to alleviate these "unnecessary" obstructions. Luckily the power to the pond was off so he could fully enjoy the rewards of his efforts.
