The organization's Young Architects and Designers committee, selected each year from past winners of the League Prize, developed the programs theme and selected competition jurors. This years theme, "Range," reflects the committees perception of young architects careers as explorations of potential boundaries with practices that are radicalthat search the edges of the discipline to find its limits. The committee challenged designers to express the range [they] operate within and how that range reacts as [they] encounter perceived limits of the profession.

Winners will lecture in June and display their work in an exhibition on view through the summer. Their work will be featured in a new volume of the Young Architects series jointly published by Princeton Architectural Press and the league. Original interviews and video of the winners also will appear on the leagues website.
