NASHVILLE, TN--(Marketwired - Aug 27, 2013) - Chem-Dry, the world's largest carpet and rug cleaning franchise, has expanded into two more countries: Costa Rica and Ghana. Chem-Dry is in the midst of its fastest global expansion in more than a decade and is partnering with master franchises to bring the brand to new customers.

Chem-Dry's newest master franchise partners are Kenneth M. DeSanti in Costa Rica and Nana Oduro in Ghana.

DeSanti discovered Chem-Dry while looking for the best way to add carpet cleaning service to his family's existing business Alcesa, a 35-year-old company started by DeSanti's father Alex Salazar, that sells and installs carpets at hotels, offices and other large buildings. Customers now will have one place to shop and care for their carpeting needs. In Costa Rica, carpet cleaners use the same basic equipment and cleaning solutions, and get the same uninspiring results, DeSanti said. He wanted to offer customers something better. He found Chem-Dry while researching the best carpet cleaning companies.

"Chem-Dry is one of the best companies in the world because it has developed its own systems, its own cleaning solutions and its own equipment," DeSanti said. "We will be able to offer customers a superior carpet cleaning experience, with healthier cleaning solutions, faster drying times and better results. And since it will be different than anything else, we will be able to compete on the basis of quality rather than price."

Oduro discovered Chem-Dry in Denmark. After learning about the company's success in Europe, he realized that Ghanaians would benefit from the service, too.

"I'm excited to get the company going here," he said. "Chem-Dry is a very successful company that has proven itself in many parts of the world."

Founded in 1977, Chem-Dry began global operations in 1986 and has been Entrepreneur magazine's top-rated floor surface cleaning franchise for 25 years in a row. Chem-Dry expects to continue adding new master franchise partners in other countries through 2014 and beyond. Chem-Dry has more than 3,500 units worldwide and serves 10,000 homes a day. Its green-certified solution and proprietary hot carbonating extraction process deliver a faster-drying, deeper, healthier cleaning. For more, visit http://www.chemdryfranchise.com/international.
