This is air duct cleaning via the ram air clear view method. This utilizes a small duct ball with holes for air. The air supply is from an air compressor, the duct ball is pushed through the duct backwards and forwards as the air blows out of the holes safely blasting the duct walls free of dust, dirt, debris, and pet hair. Our vacuum source is a 25 hp/36 ft lb torque carpet cleaning truck mount. Ram air suggests not to clean the returns with a box, but this video shows that using the box even after doing it the way ram air describes is far more effective. We are learning new things about a brushless system and adding our own techniques. We are even making a larger adapter to work on larger returns. The next step is cleaning a non-flex duct (all metal square duct) effectively because we also proved that the square metal ducts don #39;t clean as well with just air and a brush will not damage them.
