The City of Boulder invites designers, artists, architects, planners, and landscape architects (professionals and students) to participate in the Boulder Civic Area Ideas Competition! In this recorded webinar, the competition organizers presented an overview of the Civic Area, including site challenges and opportunities. The organizers provided an overview of both Competition Briefs 1) the Vision Project, 2) Catalytic Project, and potential program ideas. Crowdbrite staff provided a short training on using the Crowdbrite platform. The competition organizers and Crowdbrite staff answered questions and review the submission requirements and registration process. Boulder Civic Area is a visionary community-driven project to rethink and evolve the downtown #39;s most expansive public space. The goal is to transform this area into Boulder #39;s social, civic, and environmental heart; one that prioritizes purpose per square foot over price per square foot.
