Chicago Architects Project
chicagoarchitectsproject.org Chicago Architects Project (CAP) is an ongoing and evolving research project illustrating the relationships among architects, their mentors and their proteges within the Chicago area. The goal is to create a dynamic online diagram showing these relationships that can be utilized by architects, historians and students. The CAP committee includes architects, architectural historians, preservationists, and archivists who are creating an online genealogy of Chicago architects from the 19th through the 21st centuries. The current research is building upon and updating the Chicago architects #39; genealogy published in 1993 in the Art Institute of Chicago #39;s exhibition catalog Chicago Architecture and Design, 1923-1993: Reconfiguration of an American Metropolis. Start up support provided by the Society of Architectural Historians, AIA Chicago, and the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation.From:sahvideo1365Views:0 0ratingsTime:03:18More inEducation
