REFORMS IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
Public Works Minister Chris Obure has hailed the key legislative structures that have been laid down touching on the building and construction industry saying that they are the bedrock that will anchor reforms in the sector. Principally the minister spoke high about the national construction authority regulations that he is set to take to the floor of the house after the stakeholders gave their input. He further added that his ministry is dedicated to see the public works policy, the building environment bill and the bill that will see the separation of the roles of the quantity surveyors, architects and landscape architects are achieved.
