Sienna Miller put a little femme in fashion during New York Fashion week, flashing her baby bump Tuesday at "The Ever Changing Face of Beauty" video installation.
Miller, 30, and boyfriend Tom Sturridge, 26, an actor, have been playing it a bit coy about their first child together, with word leaking out early in January that they were expecting.
The British actress, a spokeswoman for the Boss Orange fragrance, wore a Boss Black to the event hosted by W magazine's editor in chief, Stefano Tonchi, according to On the Red Carpet.
Miller was previously engaged to actor Jude Law, but that relationship fell apart for the first time after he'd admitted to an affair with his children's nanny, who was caring for Law's three kids with his first wife. They got back together after the 2006 breakup, but finally called it quits a little more than a year ago.
Sturridge and Miller have reportedly been dating for about a year, according to Us Weekly, which reported the pregnancy in January.
They "don't have plans right away to marry, if at all," a source told the mag.

HAYWARD, Calif. (KGO) -- A Hayward woman had her carpet ripped out and replaced with laminate flooring. That's when her problems started and the problems didn't end until she got in touch with 7 On Your Side. Everyone agrees that the installation job was unacceptable. The issue was what or who is to blame.
Bela Rajpoot loves her new laminate floor, but it didn't start out that way. She points to some of the former problem spots.
"Right over here, the wood was getting bumped up like this in places and over here it also was happening the same thing, the gap from the wall to the wood was getting bigger and bigger," said Rajpoot.
The blue tape in photos from Bela marks where bumps developed on the plank. Another photo shows the gap between the wall and the flooring.
"It was almost like a quarter inch of a gap over here," said Rajpoot.
The material ripped out from her home is stacked in the corner at A to Z Carpet Flooring in Hayward where Rajpoot bought her flooring.
"This is all her stuff. When we pulled it out, it's all garbage," said Naim Rahimi from A to Z Carpet.
The store's owner explains what happened.
"The material in the lock system is defective. So doesn't hold the lock together," said Rahimi.
Rahimi tells us that the individual boards are supposed to lock together, but that the locks failed to work. He blamed the manufacturer.
"So the manufacturer sends an inspector to inspect the flooring. They inspect the flooring and they say material is not wrong. Flooring is wrong," said Rajpoot.
We called Expo Floors and it sent us two inspection reports from two different inspectors. In the reports, the Expo inspector wrote, "The floor felt uneven, and should have been leveled prior to the installation."
"It's not her floor. Her floor was perfectly fine," said Rahimi.
A to Z Carpet refused to reinstall it until Expo floors replaced what A to Z considered defective material. Meanwhile, Rajpoot was left with a living room where half the flooring had been ripped out and half was still there.
Her mother tripped and badly hurt her knee and bruised her arms. We contacted A to Z and asked them why the customer was caught in the middle of a dispute between the store and manufacturer.
"'You need to get this thing done right away' and that's when they had to take care of it and reinstall the whole flooring," said Rajpoot.
And they did, Rajpoot got her new floor.
"Michael Finney and his team really knows how to get the problem resolved and help the customers," said Rajpoot.
We're glad to have helped. If you have a problem you can't get resolved, email 7 On Your Side.

Carpets launched Basta's business -
February 16, 2012 by
Mr HomeBuilder
Scott Basta knows carpets. The York County native owns Basta's Floor Covering & Installation on Hayes Road.
He's lived in Gloucester for 38 of his 48 years.
What attracted you to owning your own floor covering and installation shop?
Basically I was maxed out where I was. I was told they couldn't pay me more and really wouldn't pay me more.
So I started out installing carpets out of a shop here in Gloucester, and they basically said, if you sell carpets on your own I'll sell to you at 5 percent over cost.
So I started out evenings going out and selling carpet.
What's changing in your work and what are your challenges?
Mainly the different types of floor covering. We're selling a lot of cork floors.
We're getting a right good demand for cork floors. And a lot of hard surfaces instead of the carpets.
It's a lot of the upper end stuff instead of the lower end.
What's fun for you in your work?
Meeting different people. Of course, some are challenges and some aren't.
Seeing the pleasure of them seeing the finished product on their faces. If they are satisfied that's great.
And if not, you stay there until you can make them satisfied.
I want them to be happy with what they have.
I've done about every church in this county. I always do something extra, throw in a portion of it. I always make a contribution to the church.
If someone unfamiliar with Gloucester asks what's cool or unique about it, how do you answer that?
I guess you would say it's a fast-growing community.
When I first moved here, you would drive down the road and everybody had their hand up whether you knew them or not. I know the majority of Gloucester. Most everybody knows me.
What's something about you people would be surprised to learn?
After 31 years I'm still on my hands and knees and interested in the intricate part of carpet. If there's a special need I'm interested in doing that.

Library to be closed for nine days -
February 16, 2012 by
Mr HomeBuilder
The Elsie S. Hogan Library will be temporarily closed at the end of this month during part of its long-awaited renovation.
The library is scheduled for closure from Monday, Feb. 27 through Wednesday, March 7; re-opening on Thursday, March 8, said Library Director Tom Miner.
The renovation project continues to move forward after recent City Council approval of new flooring.
The council voted unanimously Jan. 17 to award a $7,905.97 contract to Safford Floor Covering for installation of carpet and tile.
This vote also authorized rental of bookshelf moving equipment with which the Safford company would then move book shelves for an additional $1,000.
Miner had found a company that has equipment "specifically designed to move library bookshelves with the books on the shelves," said Dave Bonner, director of the city's Department of Public Services and Works.
The $3,200 cost to rent the equipment included shipping, he said in his Jan. 17 letter to council.
"This would allow the carpet to be installed completely and the shelves would be moved back and placed in the correct location," said Bonner.
The library would need to be closed up to four days while the carpet and tile are being installed "to allow the installer to efficiently complete the job," he said.
Unfortunately, Miner learned Feb. 8 that the Chicago- based company from which he planned to rent the equipment had raised shipping costs to the point the city could no longer afford it.
Instead, moving of the stacks will be completed by prison labor, under the supervision of the librarians, Miner told the Range News.
The city's Department of Public Services and Works solicited bids from several companies.
"Three companies responded with quotes to provide carpet which is the same brand, color, and pattern as the carpet installed during the initial phase of the library renovation," said Bonner.
Tile will be installed from the front entrance to the front desk, which is "the highest traffic area which receives the most wear," he said.
"Placing tile in this area will prevent unnecessary wear on a carpeted surface," Bonner said.
In addition to Safford Floor Coverings, the companies that provided quotes were fellow Safford-based company "Carpet, Tile & More," with a quote of $12,540.15; and "Farnsworth Tile & Carpet" of Benson, who quoted $13,533.75.
None of the prices included moving furniture and bookshelves, Bonner said.
Funded by a USDA Rural Development Grant, the total cost of the project is $12,105.97.
Bonner said the budget for the carpet was $9,000, with the additional $3,105.97 coming from the project's $10,000 contingency line.

Sienna Miller debuts baby bump -

Sienna Miller has shown off her baby bump on the red carpet.
The 30-year-old actress and fashion designer began dating actor Tom Sturridge last year and confirmed in January that she was expecting her first child.
Sienna attended The Ever Changing Face of Beauty do at New York's Park Avenue Armory hotel wearing a floor-length, tight-fitting, high-necked black gown which showed off her growing bump for the first time.
She joined guests including Cate Blanchett, Olivia Palermo and Evan Rachel Wood at the unveiling of a video installation by fashion photographer Solve Sundsbo.
The mum-to-be is rumoured to be engaged to The Boat That Rocked star Tom, but she was not wearing a ring on her engagement finger at the event.
The actress said in an interview last year: "I can't wait to be seen as a woman. But I know I probably have to contribute to that with behaviour."
She added: "I think, if you put a camera in anyone's life and document it daily from the age of 21 to 27, there are going to be things that aren't always pretty. Now, I'm much more calm. It feels like a new, more serious decade."
It was announced last month that she and her sister Savannah have stepped down as co-creative directors of their fashion label Twenty8Twelve to focus on other projects, which for Sienna includes becoming a mum.
