Hearthstone - Featured Decks: Ant's AC Miracle Rogue - Video
Talk about a sea monster!
The worlds joint largest cruise ship visited Britain for the first time on Wednesday.
Hundreds of spectators watched in awe as the Oasis of the Seas docked in Southampton on the south coast for the day.
The Royal Caribbean liner is 225,000 tonnes, 70 yards wide, 400 yards long and has an incredible 16 passenger decks.
The 800 million pounds ship is 40 per cent larger than any before it.
Taking three years to make, the 1,187ft-long ship is longer than the Shard is tall and, at 208 feet wide, is larger than the wingspan of a Boeing 747.

Made by the Royal Caribbean, it has the capacity to house 6,296 passengers and an extra 2,000 crew.
Hundreds of people lined the city's Mayflower Park to see the gargantuan liner make her way up Southampton Water.

Ive been seeing a lot of pitch decks lately. As a TechStars mentor, Ive been fortunate to get to know the SmartOn, Edvisor.io, and CreatorBox teams over the last few months and watch them develop and refine their pitches. Ive also seen numerous pitches uploaded to our new TrackBat platform, which enables entrepreneurs to track if potential investors are going through their decks to gauge interest.
All of this got me thinking, what makes a great pitch deck?
1. Make a point
If your audience doesnt understand what youre offering to provide, then youve failed. Every slide you make and every word you speak should work to explain and clarify that purpose, because thats why your audience is there in the first place.
2. The 10/20/30 rule
Guy Kawasaki, one of the worlds foremost marketing experts and a man whose name should start to be on the tip of your tongue if it isnt already, coined the now-ubiquitous 10/20/30 Rule. Basically, your presentation should be no longer than 10 slides, last no longer than 20 minutes, and include text in a font no smaller than 30 point.
One of the worst mistakes you can make while pitching is to surrender to Death by PowerPoint, which is basically just really bad use of PowerPoint. That includes not following the 10/20/30 rule, not including images or video or anything visually appealing, and making the presentation your primary method of communication (rather than you). Dont do it. Listen to Guy.
3. Its all about a problem and a solution
Sure, theres lots of other stuff in your pitch. But at the end of the day, that point we talked about is your unique solution to a nagging problem that hopefully has massive potential for success. Present the problem almost right off the bat, and remind the audience why its so incredibly annoying and how many people it affects. Once they realize its something that really needs fixing, lay your solution out for them. At this early stage, dont hit them with too much technical detail or behind-the-scenes informationkeep it clean and simple, and make sure they understand your value proposition.
Also, be sure to tie in your story. Make your audience realize the opportunity exactly how you did. Make them feel that excitement. If the audience gets it, everything else can be smooth sailing.

5 Tips For Creating The Ultimate Pitch Deck To Get Your Startup Funded
There was a time when observation decks were all the rage in Toronto. The designersand developers of tall buildings like TD Centre, Commerce Court, and City Hall, keen toshow off theircreations to the public, installedtop floorpublic viewing galleries withpanoramic views of the city. One had a restaurant, another doubled as anart gallery, a third had an aviary.
These early privately-owned public spaces (POPS) gave many peopletheir firstchance to look down on the city from above. They were popular, too. About a million people visited the observation floor at the top of TD Centre every year. That was untilthe CN Tower showed upand spoiled the party in 1976.
One of the oldest and best-known closed observation decks in Toronto sits atop the original Commerce Court tower at King and Bay. When the building was completed in 1931, it was the tallest building in the British Empire. Crowds of people gathered on the unfinished roof in 1930 to watch the R100 dirigible balloonthe pride of Great Britains budding Imperial Airship Schemeglide silently over Toronto.
Today, the tower is easy to miss among the citystaller skyscrapers, but the exquisite detail of the roof was always meant to be seen up close. Massive carved heads, representing courage, foresight, observation, and enterprise, still peer out from the thirty-second floor observation balcony, though the visitors are long gone. The deck, which doesnt have a safety railing, is too dangerous, the buildings owners say.
The 1972 addition to Commerce Court was built with an observation level, too. The 57-floor International Style Bay Street building robbed the complexs original tower of its downtown view and trumped it for height. When it openedthe new tower was the tallest in Toronto, beating neighbouring TD Centre by about 17 metres.
The indoor observation area was carpeted and contained a small collection of tropical birds. Serene music accompanied the unobstructed panoramic views of the city, lake, and surrounding cities. CIBC charged visitors 50 cents entry in 1975 and the room was open until 10 p.m.
The lookout at TD Centre, completed a few years earlier, was slightly closer to the ground, but charged the same prices (the buildings owners even minted tokens.) Instead of an aviary, the bank enticed guests with a selection of Eskimo art from the companys private collection. Office workers who brought a packed lunch were given half price admission.

DubaI Two new observatory decks opened to the public on the 125th and 148th floors at the Burj Khalifa from Wednesday - at a cost of Dh400 for a pre-booking and Dh500 for immediate entry.
At 555 metres, the 148th floor At the Top Sky is 24 floors higher than the 124th floor At The Top, making it the tallest observatory deck in the world. The record was announced by the Guinness Book of World Records at the unveiling of the deck on Tuesday.
As select invitees to the Touch the Sky launch began to scale the Burj in an elevator at nine metres a second at around half past 10, there was no telling that the worlds tallest tower would be undoing itself yet again.
Record-breaking revolution
Omar Talal, Guinness country manager, said: The UAE is at the centre of the record-breaking revolution. Dubai holds over 130 Guinness World Record titles and Burj Khalifa alone has six it is the worlds tallest building, the tallest manmade structure, has the highest elevator, highest restaurant from ground level (At.mosphere), highest residential apartments and the maximum number of floors.
He said with At the Top Sky, Burj Khalifa had not only outdone the 488 metre Canton Tower in Guangzhou, China but also its own track of setting records to become the highest man-made vantage point on earth.
Distinct from the Dh125 general admission or Dh300 fast track entry at the 124th level, the experience at the 125th and 148th floors comes at a premium of Dh400-500.
Breathtaking views apart, At the Top Sky has a life-size interactive screen where visitors can use hi-tech hand sensors to zero in on different parts of the city. Theres also a retail boutique selling souvenirs.
On the 828 metre Level 125, visitors can get a 360 degree view of the city. A Falcons Eye View gives them a virtual tour of prominent destinations.
Burj Khalifa, which attracted over 1.8 million visitors in 2013, hopes to surpass the number with the new deck additions. Ahmed Al Falasi, executive director (property management), Emaar, said: At the Top is one of the worlds most compelling tourist attractions today. With the introduction of Sky, we are scaling up the entire journey to Burj Khalifa by offering a truly premium experience that will be lifetimes memory for every visitor.
