Washington State officials will review an incident in which a Cougars fan appeared to shove Washington football star Austin Seferian-Jenkins to the ground as the crowd rushed the field after Wazzus Apple Cup upset on Friday, according to reports.

A WSU spokesperson told Christian Caple of The (Spokane) Spokesman-Review that the school is taking the issue seriously and will review the apparent incident Monday along with all of Fridays game-day operations. A WSU football spokesperson did not immediately reply to a seattlepi.com request for an update on the situation; we will update when we hear back.

Updated: A WSU spokesperson said there is nothing new to say at this time. The school still plans to review Fridays procedures as it does after every game day.

Meanwhile, a Huskies football spokesperson said UW has no comment at this time.

The apparent incident occurred Friday evening at Pullmans Martin Stadium, when fans began rushing the field to celebrate the Cougars 31-28 come-from-behind overtime victory in the Apple Cup.

In the video below, a fan can be seen amid the chaos shoving a Huskies player to the ground at about the 12-second mark. The incident occurred at the 45-yard line, at about the same level as the field numbers, in the lower-right area of the video. The Huskies player has been deemed to be Huskies star tight end Seferian-Jenkins.

CougCenter.com did some work on this incident over the weekend and created an animated .gif image that shows the WSU fan shoving ASJ to the ground. (Some media outlets are reporting the fan punched ASJ, but we just dont clearly see any fist-swinging going on, so were sticking to shoving at the moment.)

Whatever happened whether it was a punch or a shove it was a gross display of unsportsmanlike conduct and an ugly image of school spirit gone wrong. No amount of wild jubilation can excuse behavior of that kind.

Its unclear what could happen, if anything, to the WSU fan if he or she is identified.

CONCORD -- One Concord couple is going all out this Christmas and they're inviting the entire community to come enjoy it too. David and Patty Fantetti have hung more than 18,000 lights on their property and Sunday, they turned them on for all to see.

The couple has a passion for Christmas decorations that can be seen all over their front lawn.

"I mean who doesn't like lights," said Patty Fantetti.

While they always decorate, this year, they decided to take it to the extreme. The Fantettis started in June, stringing more than 18,000 Christmas lights.

"That tree right there alone has 8,000 lights on it," said David Fantetti.

"It brings me joy and I hope that it might bring some joy to somebody else just to watch the lights, maybe remember their childhood," said Patty Fantetti.

But they didn't stop with merely hanging the decorations. The lights "dance" to synchronized music. You can even tune in to a radio channel and listen from your car.

"It's a lot better than what we have ever had before and once you start watching, it's definitely going to grab your attention," said David Fantetti.

While the spectacle on Palaside Drive has turned into quite the show, the couple is hoping all of the people it draws will help in their mission to assist local charities this year.
