Kitchen and Residential Design -

Whether its making your home a more comfortable place to live, trying to make it more valuable with more energy or elegance, or just simply you want to make yourself feel happy, these projects of super clean bathroom remodeling are the key element and are the most economical way that you can make your bathroom clean with ten times the cash that you would have spent in some luxury bathroom shops buying new bathroom interior.
When it comes to the elegance and the cleanness of your bathroom, there are several ways of making the difference in it, and few of those are the lightning, painting, wall decoration and assents, the main bathroom mirror which is usually present in the bathrooms around the world, followed by the curtains over the bath tub and the linens.
The first thing in any cheap bathroom remodeling and making it look amazing is the paint. The paint must be done in neutral shade and colors, and the energy should come from the accessories that are placed there later on, not from the paint itself. Even if this is the case with the paint being the second background color of the bathroom, dont underestimate the power of it because it gives the shininess of the other elements by being the contrast itself.
Next money spending step are the fixtures with new lightning that should be placed on the wall once the paint is dried. Wattage is needed because your light determines the happiness that you will place inside the bathroom. Aim to focus is where you plan to put the mirror for double light due to the reflection. The lights are not something that you can remodel and clean to look cutter. This is where you should spend some money and at the end of the long run they will definitely pay off.
Towel racks and light switch covers should come after the lightning is placed. Aim for white or chrome because its the color of the century, and it makes the bathroom look elegant. These accessories are not so expensive so go for the kill. They can be found in any shop for bathroom accessories.
Mirror and everything else is next as the last step of the wall decorating. This is the main bathroom element including the interior so we suggest you watch a tutorial video on how to reuse your old mirror and make it look amazingly new, as well as how to place the mirror in the bathroom so it can get the maximum out of the lightning that comes from the window, and the artificial lightning that you have previously set in the bathroom.
Shower curtains are a cheap element to replace and a fun one as well. Aim for live colors that contrast the walls, and with no doubt at all your bathroom will look fresher and cleaner, while you wont have to spend much time and money on it. Natural material curtains are the best way to go because they are cheap and soft, and for this matter, look for cotton duck.
Linens should be the same color as your bathroom shower curtains and if your shower curtains are white, beige or cream, your mat and towels should also share the same color and intensity. The last accessories like toothbrush holders and tissue boxes should be white as well, if your curtains are white. Some may way that this is a classic and a color that has already been used many times before, but the thing is that white color is one of the cleanest colors and the best looking one for a bathroom. Not to mention that it is the cheapest color on the market.
We hope that this small cheap bathroom remodeling guide helped you and your idea of remodeling your bathroom while saving you cash.

I called 3 general contractors for estimates to finish off 2 rooms in our basement. The smaller room measured about 12 by 13 and the larger room was about 18 by 19. The smaller room was to be my wifes craft room and the larger room was to be a media room. Of the 3 general contractors, I got the best vibe from Jim Kannar of HD Elements. He was friendly, patient and listened to what my needs/ideas for the rooms were. Thats not to say the other two contractors werent nice and polite; they were. I just felt right going with Jim and, after Jim told me a little about how he and his crew operated, I felt pretty confident that he and his crew would do a great job.
eArmando, the project manager assigned to my job, was a pleasure to work with. He and his crew were courteous, punctual and cleaned up after every day of work. Their crew consisted of about 3 to 4 guys. They arrived in the mornings around 8 or 9 am and finished their day around 4 or 5 pm. For the media room, I requested that the walls be acoustically insulated. I suggested using Roxul insulation and Jim agreed and said that often used that material for media rooms. On top of that, Jim suggested doubling up on the ceiling drywall to further damp noise from upstairs roomwow! The other two contractors actually steered me away from using the Roxul insulation and suggested using regular insulation (from that, I sort of knew that they werent listening to what I wanted and I mentally scratched them off my short list of contractors).
When the crew installed the drywall, they used an over abundance (this is a good thing) of drywall screws as opposed to just using nails. This ensures the walls stay true (no sagging or bowing) for many years. I was thoroughly impressed with this technique. Also, the painters were very thorough with their work. They spackled, sanded, paintedthen spackled and sanded and painted again to make sure the walls were perfectly smooth and evenly painted. These were just some aspects that probably separates Jim and HD Elements from other general contractors out there.
Jim visited the house to inspect the work every few days over the 4-5 week period to make sure all was going well.
After all was done and I paid my last installment check, I inquired with Jim about another room in the basement that we were considering having finished. To my surprise, Jim recommended that I NOT have it finished and to keep it as a storage roomwow! How many contractors would turn down a project to the benefit of the homeowner?
Id hire Jim and his crew again in a heart beat. His crew, namely Armando and his crew, are a hard working bunch and I appreciate their hard work and attention to detail.

When discovering kitchen remodeling ideas for your kitchen, there are several different aspects to consider. Overall, a functional space is key after all, you want your kitchen layout to work well for you. You should carefully consider where to place your stove, refrigerator, island and cabinets to ensure plenty of space to cook, eat and entertain. Next, you should keep storage in mind. Kitchens contain a lot of utensils, pots, pans and small appliances, so be sure to have enough space to store all your favorites nearby. Finally, your traditional space should look nice and welcoming to guests who visit. Using high-quality, colorful materials will help bring personality and vibrancy to your space, which is important when trying to avoid a cookie-cutter look. How do I determine my kitchen layout? If you're starting a kitchen renovation, now is a great time to create exactly what you want. With the help of a kitchen designer, even a small space can have spacious storage and a nice flow. For small spaces, a galley layout is a great option. Since horizontal space is limited, think vertical; stack counters and shelves high up on the walls, and try to find innovative storage containers and double-duty pieces. For larger layouts, try an L-shaped or U-shaped kitchen with a large center island or peninsula. It provides plenty of cabinet and countertop space, and you can add a bar-height counter to the island for an instant eat-in space. In the end, it's important to think about what your family uses the room for and then cater to those needs when you start implementing your kitchen remodeling ideas. How can I add more kitchen storage? In order to store all your cookware, bakeware and small appliances, you need cabinets, drawers and shelves to spare. To make your space work, use every square inch of space: include cabinets in your island, buy spice racks and hanging pot racks, and invest in a cart. Place frequently used bulky items on the countertop, and free up some space by storing less commonly used items in your storage room or basement. And most of all, get organized! Well-organized accessories take up less space, so taking the time to properly store them will be a lifesaver. What countertops and cabinets should I use in my kitchen design? Because the layout and storage options are pretty standard, picking interesting materials is key for helping your kitchen stand out. When it comes to counters, granite countertops and marble countertops are elegant options, while concrete, limestone and stainless steel counters are a little more trendy. For a bit of color, add a bright mosaic tile backsplash or pick out a vibrant wood floor finish. You can even mix up your cabinetry! Frosted cabinets are great for a modern feel, while painted cabinets make for a nice but cheap kitchen remodel.

Design is the creation of a plan or convention for the construction of an object or a system (as in architectural blueprints, engineering drawings, business processes, circuit diagrams and sewing patterns).[1] Design has different connotations in different fields (see design disciplines below). In some cases the direct construction of an object (as in pottery, engineering, management, cowboy coding and graphic design) is also considered to be design.
More formally design has been defined as follows.
Another definition for design is a roadmap or a strategic approach for someone to achieve a unique expectation. It defines the specifications, plans, parameters, costs, activities, processes and how and what to do within legal, political, social, environmental, safety and economic constraints in achieving that objective.[3]
Here, a "specification" can be manifested as either a plan or a finished product, and "primitives" are the elements from which the design object is composed.
With such a broad denotation, there is no universal language or unifying institution for designers of all disciplines. This allows for many differing philosophies and approaches toward the subject (see Philosophies and studies of design, below).
The person designing is called a designer, which is also a term used for people who work professionally in one of the various design areas, usually also specifying which area is being dealt with (such as a fashion designer, concept designer or web designer). A designer's sequence of activities is called a design process. The scientific study of design is called design science.[4][5][6][7]
Designing often necessitates considering the aesthetic, functional, economic and sociopolitical dimensions of both the design object and design process. It may involve considerable research, thought, modeling, interactive adjustment, and re-design. Meanwhile, diverse kinds of objects may be designed, including clothing, graphical user interfaces, skyscrapers, corporate identities, business processes and even methods of designing.[8]
Substantial disagreement exists concerning how designers in many fields, whether amateur or professional, alone or in teams, produce designs. Dorst and Dijkhuis argued that "there are many ways of describing design processes" and discussed "two basic and fundamentally different ways",[9] both of which have several names. The prevailing view has been called "The Rational Model",[10] "Technical Problem Solving"[11] and "The Reason-Centric Perspective".[12] The alternative view has been called "Reflection-in-Action",[11] "Evolutionary Design",[7] "co-evolution"[13] and "The Action-Centric Perspective".[12]
The Rational Model was independently developed by Simon[14] and Pahl and Beitz.[15] It posits that:
The Rational Model is based on a rationalist philosophy[10] and underlies the waterfall model,[16]systems development life cycle[17] and much of the engineering design literature.[18] According to the rationalist philosophy, design is informed by research and knowledge in a predictable and controlled manner. Technical rationality is at the center of the process.[citation needed]
