Mold Issue in West Lafayette City Hall Found Worse Than Expected; My Cleaning Products Shares Mold Removal Tips to … - April 18, 2014 by Mr HomeBuilder

Lafayette, IN (PRWEB) April 18, 2014

An inspection revealed that the mold problem in West Lafayette City Hall is worse than expected. A report from jconline.com dated April 17, 2017 relayed the details of it. Meanwhile, My Cleaning Products suggested two organic mold removal sprays to help the public prevent the same huge mold case.

According to the report, the inspection particularly discovered that there are two layers of drywall in the basement. It related that there was a space between the layers. That, as explained by Mayor John Dennis, provided a room for mold to grow.

The inspectors will deliver a detailed report about the problem by August, said the post. It stated that it will list the extent of the problem and the estimated cost of the repairs needed. Based on it, it relayed that the officials will decide to either renovate building or tear it down.

The report recalled that the mold problem at the city hall was first discovered in January. It added that it was vacated by the end of February due to high mold spores level.

Here is an excerpt from the said report.

West Lafayette City Hall's mold problem is more pervasive than anyone knew."

"The mold issue is a little more significant than what we originally anticipated," Mayor John Dennis said as he described an update from Tecton Construction, the consulting company that is determining the extent of mold in the building and providing the city with options.

The mold problem at West Lafayette City Hall could occur anywhere else, said My Cleaning Products. However, if one could get rid of the fungus early, a major mold problem could be prevented, it stated.

And so, to help the public do that kill mold early MCP advised everyone to stay alert of mold signs. Moreover, in order to be able to respond immediately to the confirmation of its presence, it told everyone to get help beforehand.

Spring Means Its Time to Clean Air Ducts - April 18, 2014 by Mr HomeBuilder

Beltsville, MD (PRWEB) April 17, 2014

With spring just around the corner, now is the time to get air ducts cleaned from EnviroGreen MD Cleaning and Mold Removal. The experts at EnviroGreen MD Cleaning and Mold Removal say that cleaning air ducts is necessary because if they are not maintained, the risk of air systems becoming contaminated with dust and other debris increases.

Components of forced air systems may become contaminated with particles of dust, pollen or other debris when they are not properly installed, maintained or operated, according to the EPA. When moisture is present, the potential for microbiological growth and mold increases and spores from such growth may be released into the homes living space. Some of these contaminants may cause allergic reactions or other symptoms in people if they are exposed to them.

There are several checks homeowners can undertake to determine whether or not they need to clean their air ducts. If they find mold growth inside sheet metal ducts or on other components of the heating and cooling system, it may mean that ducts need cleaning. Those who find vermin like rodents or insects should immediately call EnviroGreen MD Cleaning and Mold Removal for assistance.

Ducts clogged with excessive amounts of dust and debris can be released into the home from supply registers. Homeowners need to be assured they are breathing clean air by scheduling a duct cleaning.

The EPA claims that no evidence suggests that air duct cleaning would be detrimental, provided that it is done properly. One may consider having their air ducts cleaned simply because it seems logical that air ducts will get dirty over time and should occasionally be cleaned.

Mold Returns to Shreve Memorial Library, My Cleaning Products Suggests Two Sprays to Kill Mold Spores Fast and Prevent … - April 15, 2014 by Mr HomeBuilder

Shreveport, LA (PRWEB) April 15, 2014

Mold has returned to Shreve Memorial Library in Louisiana. A report from shreveporttimes.com relayed the news on its post published on April 12, 2014. Meanwhile, wanting to help the public kill mold quick and avoid the return of it, My Cleaning Products recommended two mold sprays made with organic ingredients.

The post shared that the fungus was found on the third floor of the facility. It detailed that it is where the library houses the microfilm, periodical, petroleum and government documents and rare Louisiana books. Also, it was spotted in the Larkin Edwards room, it related. The area, it said, is where the special collections are placed.

Library officials were unsure of the source of the fungus, the report relayed. And so, it shared that on March 31, the board decided to hire an expert to analyze the problem and help them determine their next step to eliminate mold for good. It detailed that $10,000 was allocated for the project.

It was in 2007 when mold was first discovered in the library, shared the report. Back in 2011, it added that about $25,000 was spent for its removal in the library.

Below is a part of the post Mold Troubles Shreve Memorial Library Again by My Cleaning Products.

Shreve Memorial Library thought that it was done with mold. But recently, the fungus showed up again and threatened valuable collections in the facility.

It was back in 2007 when the problem with the spores was first detected. From then on, several measures were taken to clear them. In 2011, efforts to eradicate them, which included the vacuuming of affected books, even cost the library some $25,000 as shared by Barbara Moore, the former main library branch manager.

According to My Cleaning Products, mold problems in libraries are not uncommon as the spores could grow anywhere. However, of all the places that they could contaminate, it cited that houses are some of the most-vulnerable to their presence.

MCP reasoned that's because moisture is always present at home and just a little of it is needed for the spores to grow. Considering that, it advised the public to always be ready to eliminate mold. That way, the worst of its effects could be avoided, it asserted.
