Two northwest New Jersey co-workers were arrested last week at their Hunterdon County job, the place where they schemed together to sell heroin, authorities said.

Charles Davis, 25, of Phillipsburg, and Jonathan Neceda, 24, of Bloomsbury, face charges of drug distribution, possession and conspiracy, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office and New Jersey State Police said today in a statement.

Detectives from the two departments seized 130 decks of heroin, worth roughly $1,500, when they arrested Davis and Neceda, according to the statement. Authorities said the bust was the result of an undercover investigation and accused the two of conspiring at their Bloomsbury workplace to sell the drugs.

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony Kearns III vowed to continue to battle the growing problem of heroin use.

"The heroin epidemic continues to destroy lives, devastate families and affect the quality of life in Hunterdon County and throughout this state," he said in a statement.

Also arrested in Friday's bust was 22-year-old Lindsay Fretz, of Phillipsburg. She faces a drug possession charge after she was found with less than 50 grams of marijuana, authorities said.

Davis and Neceda were each sent to the Hunterdon County jail in lieu of $15,000 bail. Davis has since been released after posting that amount, online records indicate.

Neceda remained in the facility late this morning. Fretz was released pending a court appearance.
