Heat forward Chris Bosh accidentally decked referee Leroy Richardson with an elbow during Miamis 104-96 overtime victory over the Bobcats in Charlotte on Saturday.

With a little less than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and the score tied at 90, Bosh launched a three-pointer from the right corner that rimmed out. As he ran back to play defense along the sideline, Bosh shouted in frustration, and his left elbow caught Richardson square in the head, sending the veteran official to the ground in front of the Bobcats bench.

Richardson remained down on the ground for a few minutes before getting up and deciding to finish the game.

Bosh finished with 25 points (on 10-for-16 shooting) and seven rebounds for the Heat, who improved to 29-11 with the win. LeBron James led Miami with a game-high 34 points (on 13-for-25 shooting), eight rebounds and six assists.

Al Jefferson scored a team-high 22 points (on 10-for-23 shooting) and 14 rebounds for Charlotte. Ramon Sessions added 16 points and five assists for the Bobcats, who fell to 17-25 with the loss.
