Several homes were being demolished today after a series of devastating landslips has left houses precariously near a cliff edge.

Four houses at at Knipe Point, near Scarborough in Yorkshire were bulldozed today and a further two will be tomorrow, after a series of landslides since 2008 has left them unsafe.

After three had to be pulled down in 2008, residents say they fear which of their houses overlooking Cayton Bay will be next.
