Israel demolishes a three-story Palestinian home in the Mount of Olives, East Jerusalem, 4 December 2012. When one of our volunteers asked a police officer what was going on, he replied "Oh, just the usual." Israeli authorities say such demolitions are carried out because of illegal building, but international human rights NGOs say Palestinians are rarely granted permits to build homes in East Jerusalem.
