Majlis Bachao Tahreek: (MBT) The Majlis Bachao Tahreek party described the ongoing spat between the Majlis Ittehadul Muslameen (MIM) and Congress (I) party as a political drama. Speaking at a Press conference at NSS here on Monday, Mr. Amjed Ullah khan (MBT Youth leader Azampura Division Corporator) said that the Congress and the Majlis have reached an secret understanding eyeing the elections. The said war between MIM Cong (I) is like WWF. He said it is evident from many incidents reported in the last few weeks that the MIM in order to save its vote bank has pretended to break ties with the Congress over a trivial issue of Bhagya Laxmi Temple. There were many issues like arrest and tourcher of innocent Muslim Youths post Mecca Masjid Blast, Allotments of thousands of Acers of WAKF properties to SEZs, Power failure in old City, Fees reimbursement issue, Inaction of Govt on attack on Muslim youth by Hindu Vahini and communal violence but the Majlis leadership did not find it necessary to break its ties with the Congress, he said. In regard to the Babri Masjid issue Mr. Khan said that the MIM had no even observed the First Anniversary of the Babri Masjid Demolition in the year 1993 and instead had prevented people from observing it as a Black Day all these years.
