WATERVLIET Demolition crews will be back this morning to continue their work at St. Patricks church.

After days of preparation, three cranes pulled on the attached cables for several minutes Thursday to take down the top portion of the former St. Patricks churchs bell tower to no avail. One of the cables snapped and the tower remains standing, barely budging during the attempt.
