It was very well packaged (protected) upon arrival. The mounting instructions were pretty self explanatory. Everything you need to mount the cabinet and board was included, however I used separate screws because I had them and they were more robust. You definitely need a second hand to help install the cabinet though. The pre-drilled mounting holes are 16" from each other so that the board will mount perfectly between wall studs. However, if you want the board in a particular location (not on studs) they include toggle bolts for drywall installation. The doors are solid and they also line up when closed (no gaps or no misalignment). The board comes with two chalkboards for score keeping, chalk, and a pretty cheesy eraser (buy a new eraser)The board itself is very nice. The actual dartboard has COWBOYS NFL written at the top and bottom of the board. The darts are also etched with COWBOYS on the metal handle which is a nice little touch.The only thing I am not 100% happy about is the quality of the plastic part of the dart stem (forgive me for not knowing the proper terminology). After a couple of games, I noticed one was slightly bent.
