What a long day! So we hacked over there at 11am and had to wait for FIVE hours before our class started! I had entered the 85cm but it was tiny so pulled out (Winnie has no respect for small fences) and just did the 1m which was definitely built up to height - I think practically everything was definitely one metre! After a disastrous first attempt where we had five fences down (bad jockey and winnie being just too keen) they let me + another girl from my yard have another go since we had to hack back and it was getting too dark to wait. HE CLEARED THE DOUBLES - which have ALWAYS been a problem for us! He began to get a bit fast and flat after that second double - I just didn #39;t collect him enough. Very happy with this round - things to work on but for our first 1metre class, especially when winnie is unfit, I am a cheesing girl!
