Hi Steve from Wilhelmy Homes. Thanks for stopping by our YouTube channel. I wanted to talk to you today about the costs to selling a house. Everyone #39;s house is different so everyone #39;s situation is a bit different, but I can at least talk about big picture stuff. Almost everyone I chat with wants to know, "How much money am I going to have at the end of the day?" That #39;s the big question so we like to lump the costs of selling a house into a couple of categories. First off, we have to take care of your existing mortgage, government related expenses such as taxes and fees, and then there are realtor fees. We will talk about all the values of hiring a real estate professional who understands your market and has sold many houses. There are title services fees and other professional services fees so they get paid to make sure that the deed is recorded properly and the wire transfer gets done on a timely manner. There may even be fees associated with the buyer. They may ask you to contribute to their closing costs. You may have to pay for a home warranty or discount points or things like that. All of those things may factor in and that #39;s why everyone #39;s situation is a bit different. We will definitely talk you through that and we will have an approximate net sheet to where we can say we think that you are going to walk away from this house and have this much money.
