Today - LED Tube lamps T8 retrofits are becoming very popular in the fluorescent retrofit lighting market. Unlike fluorescent lamps, LED lamps require a small driver to regulate the flow of DC power through the lamp. However, a LED lamp converts electrical power into useful light more effectively than a fluorescent lamp.
