PHILADELPHIA (CBS) The developer of a new $200-million upscale hotel and high-rise condo at Broad and Spruce Streets is now bringing in a world-recognized designer to figure out what the interior will look like.

Developer Carl Dranoff is commissioning the internationally acclaimed French creator, designer, and architect Philippe Starck as the exclusive interior designer for the 47-story SLS LUX Philadelphia.

There is no doubt that we have indeed raised the bar.

Starck is delighted to know that its going up at the former headquarters of Philadelphia International Records, because he cannot design without music in his life.
