"My mother always loved the idea of our family making music, singing and playing together. She wasn #39;t a musician, but she was an artist -- a talented, self-driven interior designer with class, style, and a big loving heart. She loved and appreciated art and life of all forms, and she has been extremely caring, understanding, and supportive to everyone, encouraging us to pursue our passions, be kind, and be content leading a middle-path life. She gave everybody a chance and made an impact in all our lives one way or another. This has inspired me to put together this project especially for her. Even though the personnel on this recording all come from very different musical backgrounds, and some didn #39;t even have any musical background, it did not stop us from coming together to make music for her. This album is a collection of tunes that are full of memories of her. From mom and dad #39;s special song ("I Will", a duet by me and pi Poupe, Dharini Divari) back when days were still young and life was perfect, a song that she loved to listen to over-and-over again ("Till There Was You", a duet featuring pi Gap-T Bone and myself), a song that she asked me to put on repeat when she fell ill and always asked me to sing for her ("That Sunday, That Summer", with myself on vocal), and a song that is dedicated to her from daddy ("I Miss You So"). Lastly, we have a bonus track that she and Uncle Ken sang together at the Soft Opening Party of the Fisherman #39;s Village Resort back in 2002.
