This is our Florida accredited 14 credit hour online continuing education distance-learning course. This course is designed as a tool to instruct Mold Assessors and Mold Remediators on elements as defined in F.A.C 61-31.504 Continuing Education Requirements for Biennial Renewal. This course relates to the practice of Mold Assessment and Mold Remediation by including such relevant topics as mold and moisture prevention, identification and assessment techniques, detailed evaluation techniques, sampling, containment and a wide variety of remediation techniques outlined in FS 468 and Rule 61-31. Course sections include: six (6) hours of instruction regarding water (moisture intrusion), four (4) hours of instruction regarding mold and mold safety, to include respiratory protection, two (2) hours of instruction regarding report writing and two (2) hours of instruction regarding standards of practice as set forth in Rules 61-31.701 and 61-31.702.
