Outdoor Lighting

Even though installing outdoor light fixtures might not be at the top of your honey do list, there are practical and aesthetic reasons for illuminating your landscape. Exterior lighting can add security, safety, and even style to your home. Outdoor lighting is an easy way to add something extra to your home and landscape. Its important to understand what kinds of outside lights work best with your home, yard, deck, and overall property.

The next step is to determine the UL rating. UL stands for Underwriters Laboratory, where ratings are assigned to fixtures based on their location. The two ratings are damp and wet. A damp rating means the fixture can be installed in humid locations, but has no exposure to rain, water, or precipitation of any kind. Covered porches are perfect locations for UL Damp fixtures. On the other hand, UL Wet fixtures are appropriate for areas that have direct contact with precipitation like rain and snow.

Our wide array of outdoor lighting fixtures will suit your landscape light needs!
