Premier vinyl storage sheds from Sheds Unlimited INC of Lancaster, PA have been raised to a new level with a new wood-grain composite shed trim package. And while the new woodgrain look is not a vinyl product, say the managers of this family owned corporation, it is a premier product with a 50 year warranty. Fresh out of the manufacturing facility of this Amish sheds manufacturer, the new trim package on their Premier garden vinyl sheds maintains the beauty of the Premier line while offering decades of safe storage for home storage needs.
Premier Garden Sheds from this family owned and operated corporation have been a growing part of the sales in 2013. Sales are up nearly 25% from 2012 in this rural PA vinyl storage sheds builder and a large part of that due to increasing sales in the top-of-the-line Premier sheds and garages. The Garden Premier Line has caught the eye of homeowners through Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware, Massachusetts and even West Virginia.
The addition of this wood grain trim package on these vinyl storage sheds is not only giving the Premier Vinyl Sheds a facelift, it is adding to the value and longevity of this increasingly popular line of beautiful home storage sheds and garages built by the Amish in Lancaster, PA.
In addition, Sheds Unlimited has added all new shed doors to the Premier garden barns and storage sheds in vinyl. The new raised panel shed doors comes in fiberglass and add another touch of beauty to compliment the wood-grain trim package. With a beaded raised panel and the option of painting the door to match the trim package, Sheds Unlimited design managers hope this new Premier vinyl garden shed design will attract even more customers looking for beautifully designed backyard vinyl sheds.
Premier garden sheds entered the Sheds Unlimited line in 2011. It was a move by the Sheds Unlimited management to offer a broad range of painted sheds and maintenance storage shed options for a wide range of customers. Weve discovered that beauty sells, says Chris Stoltzfus, the marketing and design manager at the family owned and operated corporation.
Beginning several decades ago, Sheds Unlimited began by producing wooden storage sheds on the home family farm. That later grew to include vinyl storage sheds and later Classic and Premier Garden Storage Sheds in both wood and vinyl. More products were added throughout the years including two story modular sheds, detached two car garages, garages with attic space and more recently chicken coops. The latest addition expands the options available to Sheds Unlimited customers through PA, NJ, NY, CT, DE, MD, VA, WV and beyond.

The Renaissance area is getting another big business, and this time its a local one even though you probably wont recognize the name.
Ground has been broken on a new, $4.5 million showroom/office building in the bustling Renaissance corridor that will combine nationally recognized home-products brands under the Albuquerque-based Dreamstyle Remodeling umbrella. (Courtesy of Dreamstyle)
Albuquerque-based Dreamstyle Remodeling has broken ground on a new, $4.5 million showroom/office building, joining the likes of Sams Club and Costco in the bustling corridor.
The 20,000-square-foot project will go in next to Sportsmans Warehouse. It should be completed by March.
The building is part of a larger rebranding effort for a longtime Albuquerque enterprise with a booming business but no clear-cut identity.
Dreamstyle Remodeling is actually the new umbrella name for the company that started selling and installing nationally recognized home products in Albuquerque in the 1990s and always has marketed itself under those brand names including Four Seasons Sunrooms, Renewal by Andersen and Cal Spas.
Founder and CEO Larry Chavez said the problem was that nobody really knew who we were on the whole they assumed they were separate companies.
Its one company, and a pretty large one at that.
Dreamstyle Remodeling employs more than 200 people across six offices in three states and is in the process of hiring 20 more. It expects to gross $28 million this year, up from $21 million in 2012 and $13.5 million in 2011.
Chavez said he started selling Four Seasons Sunrooms in the 1990s and gradually has added more products and services including Home Depot cabinet installation while expanding throughout the Southwest. Dreamstyle has locations in Santa Fe, El Paso, Texas, and three in Arizona (Phoenix, Prescott and Tucson).

Open the door and say, Ah. Your master bath can be more than just functional; it can be a spa.
Bathroom remodeling continues to be one of the most popular home improvement projects. It ranks consistently among the top 10 most reviewed categories on Angies List, which has more than 700 home and health categories.
What you can do with a bathroom depends on its size and whos using it.
Hall bathrooms are commonly used by kids and guests, and an update may be focused more on making the most of a high-traffic, cramped room. Ideas include replacing a mirror with a medicine chest faced with a mirror, or replacing a pedestal sink with a vanity that has cabinet space.
A master bathroom is usually larger and more private. Its a likely candidate for a spa makeover. Some ideas from highly rated remodelers:
Replace the tub with a luxury shower featuring multiple showerheads and hand-held sprayers, or a large rain-style shower head.
Create a fresh, clean look with a frameless glass shower door.
Upgrade with granite or solid-surface materials.
Focus less on the latest design trend or fad, and more on elements, fixtures and colors that will stand the test of time.
Incorporate universal design, which is intended to ensure that a project is useful for people of all ages, abilities and sizes. Among the ideas: Replace lower toilets or sinks with taller ones that require less stooping or bending.

The Federal Savings Bank informs readers that more homeowners able to get low mortgage refinance rates and higher property values, remodeling activity has surged in 2013. According to the latest Remodeling Market Index by the National Association of Home Builders, remodeling has climbed to its highest rating since 2004. Rising two points in the third quarter of 2013, the index reached a rating of 57, indicating market activity has increased.
The Remodeling Market Index takes an average of current and future remodeling activity in the housing market. Without considering future market conditions, the current remodel rate increased from 54 points in the second quarter to 58 in the third. Current conditions reached the highest level since the initiation of the index in 2001. Any score above 50 on the index is an indicator that more remodelers are increasing market activity.
Improved economic conditions have provided encouraging signs for homeowners who plan to remodel. The Remodeling Market Index report comes at the same time as interest rates fell to an average of 4.13 percent for a 30-year fixed mortgage, down from the previous week's average of 4.28 percent, Freddie Mac reported. With housing conditions looking better, projects that were put on hold during the recession are coming to fruition.
Home sales and price gains have given a major advantage to homeowners who have seen the value of their properties increase over the last year. Heading into the winter months, when sales typically dwindle, prices are expected to rise, though at a slightly lower rate. According to the latest Home Price Index by the Federal Housing Finance Agency, prices increased 0.3 percent in August, the 19th consecutive month of growth in the housing market. With higher home equity and low cost mortgages, homeowners feel more confident about remodeling.
"In addition to existing home sales, which support remodeling activity as owners fix up their homes before and after a move, remodeling has benefited from rising home values," said David Crowe, NAHB Chief Economist. "This boosts home equity that owners can tap to finance remodeling projects. We expect existing home sales and house prices to increase, but at a slower rate over the next year, so the demand for remodeling services should also increase, but more gradually over that period."

(MoneyWatch) Kitchens have gone from small rooms relegated to the back of the home to the focal point of family life. They connect to our largest living spaces and speak loudly from the center of the home, offering a central gathering point for family and guests.
So it's no wonder that Americans invest a lot of time and money into remodeling, updating and modernizing these spaces to their exact specifications. Houzz commissioned a survey of its members, most of whom turn to the site looking for inspiration while building or renovating their homes, and found a few trends along the way.
Countertops are the biggest change homeowners will make in their kitchens -- 94 percent of survey respondents planned to change them -- and more than half want to upgrade their appliances.
Those kind of more minor remodels can recoup as much as 75 percent of the cost when the owners resell -- one of the best ways to add value to your home, according to Remodeling Magazine's 2013 Cost V. Value report. Even a gut rehab will fetch up to 70 percent of the cost in added value.
The key to remodeling in a way that adds value is to make choices that will appeal to a broad number of buyers, so these kind of on-trend remodels will go a long way when reselling. If you know that nearly two-thirds of homeowners want stainless steel appliances, it's easy to assume that buyers will have very similar desires.
So what's looking good if you're looking to remodel? Check out these 10 trends:

Judge James OConnor: refused to allow the application by the Commission for Energy Regulation for costs
A plumber who put a boiler on a wall of a house for later connection by an LPG (liquid petroleum gas) technician to a bulk gas tank, received a conviction at the District Court in Dingle yesterday.
The plumber had not understood that under 2006 regulations, a boiler was technically a gas appliance, the court heard. His conviction was for carrying out work on a gas installation when he was not registered as a person entitled to carry out gas works.
The Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) representatives of which were in court for the hearing afterwards welcomed the decision, saying it was determined to pursue illegal gas works anywhere in the country.
Michael OSullivan, Clogher, Ballyferriter, Co Kerry, pleaded guilty to carrying out the works at Ballymacadoyle, Burnham, Dingle, between June 1st and 30th last year. His solicitor said the owner of the house was upgrading an old oil system and was availing of a promotion to install a bulk gas tank. His client had not linked the boiler to the gas pipe and had left it for the LPG technician to do this.
Mr OSullivan did not understand at the time that installing the boiler was a breach of regulations, the solicitor said. He wants to stress he did not connect the tank to the boiler, but he accepts now it is a technical breach.
State solicitor Ed OSullivan, prosecuting, told the court that since 2006, installation of LPG in private houses must be carried out by registered gas installers. The prosecution was brought by the CER under Section (9G)3 of the Electricity Regulators Act 1999 as amended by the Energy Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2006.
The maximum penalty was 5,000 and/or five months in prison, the court was told. The commission was also seeking 2,825 in costs.
The court heard how Mr OSullivan was of good character, had no previous convictions, had pleaded guilty and had co-operated fully. Judge James OConnor fined him 100 but refused to allow the CERs application for costs.
In a statement afterwards, the commission, which is also the gas regulator, said this was the fourth prosecution of its kind in Ireland for illegal gas works.
