Tree Removal | Bruno Ferazza Tree Service
Here is some video from a recent Tree Service job we did in Folsom, CA. We used our cranes to remove 7 oak trees. After safely removing the trees we hauled away the wood and chipped the remaining brush.

Boulder officials will meet with managers of the Mapleton Mobile Home Park next week to review the recent removal of cottonwood trees there, as well as plans to remove more of the deciduous giants in the coming months.
The meeting was arranged this week after David Weil, a 13-year resident of the mobile home park, contacted city planners and the city forestry department about the planned removal of cottonwoods that he feels are healthy and should not be cut down without proper assessment.
City spokesman Mike Banuelos said Wednesday that because the land is private property, owned by Boulder-based nonprofit Thistle Communities, the city's forestry department has no authority. However, after the city undertook a site review approval at the site during a rezoning process in 2004, the planning department does have the authority to review changes in landscaping there, Banuelos said.
"Part of that 2004 site review included a development agreement that included a detailed landscape plan, which basically says removal of trees must receive approval from the planning department as part of that site review," Banuelos said.
Members of Boulder's department of Planning and Development Services are scheduled to meet with Mapleton Mobile Home Park management Monday. Banuelos said the city officials will focus on the best management plan for trees at the mobile home park, 2635 Mapleton Ave.
He said the city will seek justification for removal of trees, including a statement from an independent arborist regarding their removal.
For trees already removed, city officials will seek documentation about their removal and their condition, and they could require mitigation from the property managers, including planting of additional trees.
Tom Duffy has been the on-site property manager at the Mapleton Mobile Home Park since May 2011. He said he welcomes the city's input on the tree removal, and he is confident officials will support removing hazardous cottonwoods and willow trees at the site, a process that began two years ago.
"Every windstorm or snowstorm we had large limbs falling, and residents here were pretty upset, so we knew we had to do something," Duffy said.
Duffy said Mapleton Mobile Home Park has invested about $20,000 each of the past two years in tree trimming and removal, spending about $8,000 on stump grinding alone last year. He said cottonwoods were planted around the mobile home park when it was established in the 1960s and are now beyond their projected life spans.

SHEFFIELDS finest comedy synthesiser player and twaddle-talker is heading for Liverpool.
John Shuttleworth brings his new touring show, Out of Our Sheds, to the Playhouse on February 2.
His previous visits to the city have included dates at the Everyman with his sold out shows A Man With No More Rolls, Beyond Our Kennel and The Minor Tour.
This time he ventures beyond the garden gate to tread the mean streets of Britain. Which is better: city life or country living? Supermarket or village shop? Or is it better to sit in your shed and count the cobwebs?
It is, in fact, part of what is described as a totally misguided (but utterly hilarious) crusade to persuade villagers throughout the UK to give up their primitive rural existence, and head back to the cities, just as they did in the mass exodus during the Industrial Revolution of the 18th century.
Expect his persuasive patter to be accompanied by music from his trusty portable synthesiser.
The softly-spoken Shuttleworth is a fully-formed figment of comedian, actor and writer Graham Fellows fertile imagination, with the character first making his appearance back in 1986.
Graham, meanwhile, has an association with the Everyman and Playhouse going back more than 30 years to when he performed in the Lennon show at the Everyman in the months after the former Beatles murder.
But he first came to prominence as Jilted John who had a 1978 hit of the same name, famous for its line Gordon is a moron and which reached number four in the charts.
In addition to John Shuttleworth, the comedian has also created two more characters Brian Appleton and Dave Tordoff.

From a family's home to museum, the stately, two-story brick building at 202 E. Church St. has seen numerous changes.
Now, more are planned for the Historical Society of Marshall County's home.
The society's board of directors met earlier this month and discussed ideas for exhibit storage and approved remodeling of the Pioneer Room.
T-R PHOTO BY MIKE DONAHEY Shown is remodeling currently underway in the Pioneer Room on the second floor of the Historical Society of Marshall Countys museum, 202 E. Church St. The mural, which has suffered damage from the exposed pipe, will be replaced among other work according to staffer Juli Hinson.
Final details on other remodeling will be finalized in the near future, according to volunteer Susan Williams of Marshalltown, who is chairing the initiative.
"The Historical Society section will be closed the entire month of February so work by contractors and volunteers can proceed" Williams said.
However, the Genealogy Library will be open for use Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 to 4 p.m and the first and third Saturday from 10 to 2 p.m., their regular schedule.
Museum staffer Juli Hinson said she is looking forward to improvements in the Pioneer Room.
"Remodeling has already started on displays, some which go back many years," Hinson said. "A mural which has suffered damage will be replaced. Volunteers will do much of the work. However, contractors Dan Anderson will be working on walls and painting will be done by Josh Lang."
"We are excited about the planned changes and are encouraging members to attend the March 21 annual meeting at the museum to see the work." Williams said.
