Seraphic Blue #5 - To Hawick, Home of the Infant Angels
Seraphic Blue is a Japanese RPG created by Tempura in RPG Maker 2k with an in-progress English translation by eplipswich kumada. Currently as of the latest release 24 episodes plus the intro have been translated. If you #39;d like to play this game, head to the following site to get everything you need: rpgmaker.net First off, before going to Hawick, we need stop off at Ilyena #39;s orphanage for some chatter. Pretty sure Ilyena wanted to give Lake some money, but he denies her, leaving Ilyena a bit annoyed at the response she got. Hell, even Vene calls Lake out, saying he should be a little more respectful. In any case, outside of the orphanage, Vene suddenly runs off and Lake follows...to his mother #39;s grave. Vene clearly has emotions as she sheds a few tears here, then control is regained and you can head off to Hawick now. To get there, go towards the Nameless Cave, but head due north from it. Don #39;t do what I did here and run around like an idiot for like 3 minutes figuring out where to go, heh. Once you start getting near the desert, new enemies pop up. Watch out for the giant worms as they have an attack that inflict Paralysis. Paralysis stops the character completely on the battle gauge until it wears off or you use the right item to cure it (or finish the battle of course since all negative statuses wear off after battle). There are also birds to worry about, but they don #39;t have anything really annoying to startle you. Having two party members makes things much less ...From:LunaticScreamerViews:0 0ratingsTime:30:42More inGaming

About 75 firefighters battled to save homes from flames last night as a bushfire ripped through Chidlow.
SkyNews reported several sheds and fences had been destroyed overnight.
At least a dozen people fled their homes as the blaze raged through 30 hectares of bushland.
Firefighters battled hot conditions as flames came within metres of houses on Thornwick Crescent.
Residents gathered outside the Chidlow fire station and at a local community hall watching as the fire's glow lit gathering storm clouds.
It took firefighters just under two hours to get the blaze under control, Fire and Emergency Services spokesman Rik Mills said.
Four sheds were destroyed at properties on Thornwick Crescent, but no homes were damaged, Mr Mills said.
The hot dry conditions and curing of the grass contributed to the rate of spread of the fire, he said.
Western Power was called to cut power to the area after a consumer power line went down.
A resident on Thornwick Crescent, who asked not to be named, said he had been cooking dinner when he looked up and saw flames.

UPDATE: 10:55am The Department of Fire and Emergency Services has confirmed a fire that threatened homes and destroyed four sheds in Chidlow overnight was caused by a fallen power pole.
The bushfire started between Old Northam Road, Chauncy Place, Haigh Road and Forsyth Place about 7.50pm when a power pole on private property was knocked over by a strong gust of wind.
More than 70 career and volunteer firefighters from 15 stations and brigades were sent to Chidlow, east of Perth, to battle the out-of-control blaze.
Firefighters are today closely monitoring the blaze.
This morning a department spokesman said initial crews were confronted with a fire that was directly affecting properties.
The guys prevented the loss of any property in the area but unfortunately four outbuildings were lost, so things like sheds, he said.
A fair amount of fencing in the area has also been impacted.
The crews have now brought it under control and they are in mop-up phase at the moment.
At least one property on Thornwick Crescent was damaged by the flames last night.
A number of sheds at the property were engulfed.
