Thanks to my boyfriend and his 2 new GoPro Hero 2 cams - I love doing covers in one take, now it #39;s possible! If you got my updates on Facebook you should know by now, that I changed my cymbal setup. I #39;m now working together with DIRL CYMBALS (Germany)! You may have received a pamphlet in the mail or a phone call late at night promoting inexpensive air shaft cleaning at costs next to nothing. While these advertisements are certainly incorrect to some, they are becoming a lot more prominent because house owners are still succumbing to these tempting systems. By flooding the market place with these false cases at reduced air duct cleaning, they are unfortunately clouding real customers #39; opinions with untrue claims when, in fact, there are professional business considering doing high quality help their clients. Just how can you identify the difference between an air shaft cleaning fraud and a real pro? The first thing to seek is the cost. If it appears ridiculously reasonable for the solutions delivered, possibilities are it #39;s also really good to be correct. The normal rate range for an expert air duct cleaning selections from $ 400 - $ 1000 so if the special offer is a lot less than that, the scammer alarm system should be going off at this factor. Snow hits valley floor
By Jessica De Nova/KTVL.com JACKSON COUNTY, Ore.-Snow falls in Jackson County neighborhoods while Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) works to keep roads safe for travelers. Many residents woke up to their neighborhoods turned white."To our surprise, we looked out the bedroom window and the hedge and the fence was all covered with snow and it was coming down some pretty big flakes and it was absolutely beautiful," says Central Point resident, Jim Goode.Goode, born and raised in Prospect, is very familiar with snow.Dogs and children around his neighborhood ran on the streets this morning, welcoming the new look of their neighborhood.Jim Goode hopes the snow continues to put on a show tonight. He says, "If it #39;s gonna snow here in the valley, which it does like I said two or three times a year, it couldn #39;t come at a better time. I hope we do have it and it sticks around at least till people can see the lights at night with it going. It is just beautiful."Meanwhile on the Siskiyou Summit, a man heading home from Portland did not have such a beautiful experience with this weather."I was heading home to California, I don #39;t know what happened, but my truck turned," says Juan Luis Tiroche of California.Tiroche spun around enough to find himself facing the wrong direction. He drove about 300 feet going north on the south-bound I-5, staying close to the retaining wall.Tiroche was able to cross off the freeway when someone stopped traffic for him."I don #39;t know what I was ...From:news10ktvl1Views:0 0ratingsTime:02:34More inNews Politics

Walking the Highline - Alberta Oilsands Dec 2012
Just wanted to make a video of me walking the Highline in winter. -24C that day, so it was pretty cold but not as cold as it gets. I wanted to show how 100% tie off works when working at elevations and how many ladders and scaffold decks we need to climb/walk/crawl to get to where we need to work. Some people who work construction in the cities don #39;t understand why it takes so long to get some tasks completed, but you have to remember that anything we do at an elevation has to be raised up with a rope bag, or be lifted with a crane which takes coordination with other trades. The safety factors are limiting as well. If we bring up material it has to be tied off until it is permanently installed, so we have ropes in the way and netting for small parts...all our tools have to have tool lanyards (bungee cords for your tools) just in case you lose grip, or they get knocked off by mistake. All the area below has to be marked with ribbon so that others are aware of people working above. All these factors take time, which adds to the time required to perform the task...no one wants to be going home injured, or worse not going home at all... So, safety is our number one priority...then production. "Nothing is so important that we can #39;t take the time to do it safely!" Have a safe day, and stay warm!! Later.From:madjak30Views:0 0ratingsTime:14:02More inPeople Blogs
