Arbor Barbor Redwood Tree Removal
Fantastic effort from the Arbor Barber team and for a job well done. The tree is estimated to be somewhere between it was 50-80 years old and stood approx 22 meters in height with a girth of 2 meters. Thanks to MacLeods Cranes of Tauranga for providing a 50 tonne crane. The final section weighed in at 8 tonne and it took our team a total of 6hrs to complete the job. The sections were trucked out to a saw-millers to be made ready for furniture making and while milling the impressive Redwood, the saw-miller came across quite a few pieces of steel eg; coach-bolt, wire, 4inch nails.
