The Salcedo Goat Ranch in Lakeland, Florida, is owned by Carlos and Andrea Salcedo and run by the couple and their kids, Tabitha (12) and Alex (9). They are raising milk goats to make cheese as well as meat goats. This video was shot by Carlos #39; Uncle Randy Johnson on November 10, 2012, and includes shots of the hog and chicken pens as well as the goat pastures and feed sheds. An Elk Grove man has been arrested by Rocklin police on suspicion of burglary after officers responded to a report of a prowler.
Kenneth Oryan Linden, 26, is suspected of taking items from several unlocked garages and storage sheds, according to a Police Department news release.
Officers received a report about 2:40 a.m. Thursday of a prowler in the 6400 block of Sonora Pass Way. The resident reported seeing a man in light-colored clothing walking in her interior courtyard.
Officers found the side garage door open and reported that it appeared someone had rummaged through the garage. They tracked a fresh set of footprints through wet grass away from the residence.
The footprints led to Crystal Lake Court, where officers found an unoccupied parked vehicle registered to an individual with a Dixon address. The vehicle, which was not familiar to residents of the street, was open, with various tools and property inside, police said.
Officers continued searching the area and found two open side gates at homes, one on Crystal Lake Court and the other on Sunburst Court. They also located a ransacked shed and various items of personal property scattered around one of the back yards.
Officers eventually spotted a man, who closely matched the description of the prowler, walking on Sonora Pass Way. Police said Linden initially tried to avoid arrest by giving a false name.
In addition to burglary, he was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance and giving false identification to a police officer.

Wind gusts during Hurricane Sandy destroyed the trusses and tin roof of two salt sheds at a Department of Public Works site on Craft Street, forcing the city to tarp the existing salt supplies for the winter. Construction of new shed, planned to begin next year, could cost upwards of $400,000.
The two sheds are more than 40 years old, according to Newton COO Bob Rooney. He said it appears that the trusses were destroyed by wind gusts moving through the east-facing mouths of the buildings.
He said the buildings werent salvageable, and neither was up to todays codes or adequately sized for snow loads. The buildings were demolished last week at a cost of roughly $15,000. Each shed was capable of holding 1,000 tons of salt.
The sheds held a combined $100,000 in salt to be used on roads this winter, none of which was accessible until the demolition. None of the salt was destroyed, but Rooney said the city would have to keep a close eye on it to ensure it remains dry and to make sure there are no runoff issues.
Salt that gets wet can dissolve or clump up, which creates major issues for the salt spreaders located on the back of the plow vehicles.
Rooney said the sheds were the only two located in the northern half of the citys snow routes. When a noreaster hit recently, he said an extra truck had to be put into service to accommodate for the lack of access to the damaged sheds. While that should be less of a problem now, Rooney said, losing the sheds will be a challenge the city will have to cope with throughout the winter.
Were going to work our hardest to keep up with every storm, said Rooney.
Rooney said the city would seek state or federal relief aid to pay for the majority of the cost of replacing the sheds.
