Patiosadmin2014-01-08T18:16:12+00:00 Brick Pavers Patios
Brick paver patios and concrete paver patios, also called patio pavers, can be designed to accent any living space. From your front yard and entry way to a custom walkway to your backyard, pavers are the best way to go.
Watch this video explaining how a patio is installed with brick pavers.
A new brick paver patio installed in your back yard is one of the most valuable additions you can make to your home. Some say it will increase your homes value by up to 20 pecent. Most people would love to have a nicely designed patio area where they can enjoy nice evenings and grill out. When considering what type of pavers to use for your new patio, there are a few things to consider in your design.
* Check out this Pavers Patios Gallery below. Click on any image to enlarge and then use the arrows at the bottom to scroll through and view how beautiful pavers can be.
Patio paver designs and layouts are limited only by your imagination. You may prefer a classic design, or maybe a historic pattern with a layout and pattern used during the colonial period. Such concrete paver and brick paver patterns in this design include; running bond, stacked, herringbone, and basket weave. Many of our clients prefer to work with our designers to come up with a design that compliments their home and landscape.
Another aspect of patio design is the color that brick pavers come in. Many people believe that brick pavers are only available in a reddish brick color. Colors like styles are not limited to one type. Patio pavers are offered in many different colors from brick red, to grey, rose and purples. Using one or a variety of these colors allows you to have us create the perfect patio for you.
Brick pavers and concrete pavers are the perfect solution for any patio area. From a practical side they are cost effective and durable. From an aesthetic side they enhance the beauty of any outdoor sitting or entertaining area. Call us today to have one of our designers come and discuss your particular project. Even if you are just in the beginning stages our free estimate will help you gain more insight to adding the perfect compliment to your yard, a brick paver patio.
Are you ready to add that patio youve been dreaming of? Give us a call at 972-415-3147 or fill out our Free Estimate Form on this page. We will be happy to arrange a FREE consultation with one of our designers to discuss brick pavers, concrete pavers, or stone for your patio project.

Jmack can work with you if there is a issue regard to the project, we had some issue during the construction on the planing but he took care of it.

5 Tips for a Successful Rustic Siding Installation
Rustic siding installation is often deemed as expensive since the usual materials that are used in this kind of siding installation are natural wood. Because of this, many homeowners think that installing a rustic siding is not a feasible idea when the budget is not that big. But, this siding option is still possible even if you have a limited budget.
By knowing some tips about siding installation, you will be able to have a rustic siding for your home without breaking the bank. This will be quite helpful even when you are not in a tight budget since it will allow you to choose the best option for your siding project without unnecessarily increasing your budget.
Tips for a Successful Siding Installation
Here are some tips that you can follow to have a successful rustic siding installation. Make sure that you remember these when planning your siding installation project so that you can have a great looking siding that is also quite durable and long lasting:
One of the best things to do when planning a siding installation is to do some research first. You would want to know a thing or two about siding installation before you start planning it. This way, you will be able to choose the best company for the job and also be able to choose the best siding option for your house.
You can do your research online as this is the fastest and easiest way in knowing something these days. There are a lot of resources online that you can use to learn more about rustic siding, which will help you plan your siding installation project more efficiently.
By doing research, you can also know if rustic siding is the best option for you or not.
Just because you are planning a rustic siding installation does not mean that you can only choose natural wood for this project. You can also use other siding options such as vinyl siding that is designed to look like real wood. This kind of siding is made from PVC resin, which is quite durable and long lasting.
What makes vinyl siding a good option even for rustic siding projects is its maintenance-free feature. All you need to keep your vinyl siding clean and appealing is a water hose or power washer to remove all the dirt it accumulated. As for natural wood sidings, you need to maintain it and repaint or stain it every year or so. Hence, it is better to choose a siding option that does not need repainting, re-staining and repairing every few years even if you are aiming for a rustic siding installation.
Another thing that you should keep in mind when planning a siding installation project is to ensure that you are hiring a company that is able to provide you with the service that you want. Not all contractors can give you the finish that you are looking for. Hence, it is best to not hire the first siding company that you find. You should follow a hiring process so that you can determine which contractor is able to pass your assessment.
A rustic siding installation project can be quite expensive so you need to make sure that you are hiring a contractor that is able to provide you with the kind of service that you deserve. Do not settle for a company that only offers cheap rates. You can find contractors that offer reasonable prices along with satisfactory service if you take your time in interviewing and getting to know the companies that are offering their service to you. So, do not rush in finding the best contractor for you.
When hiring rustic siding installation companies, make it a point to ask for photos of their previous works. This way, you can see the quality and appearance of the siding that they have installed.
You will be able to choose the contractor that is able to create the finish that you want when you have photos of their previous works. Because you can see how faultless a companys work can be, you can make a better decision in hiring a company for your rustic siding installation project.
You will certainly be presented with references when you interview a contractor and ask for proof of their work excellence. Make sure that you contact the previous clients in the list so that you can ask them about their experience in working with the contractor that you are thinking of hiring.
A good rustic siding installation company should have provided their clients with various options so that the client will be able to choose the best siding option and save on their siding installation project. A reliable contractor is also one who works around their clients budget and would not try to upsell to their customers just to get more sales and not to improve the quality of their clients siding. Ask about these when talking with the previous clients of the contractor that you intend to hire.
If you can pay a visit to a client, you might want to ask their permission to inspect their siding so that you can see if the work is flawless and the siding looks rustic, especially if you are choosing a vinyl siding for your rustic siding installation project.
When planning a successful siding installation project, make sure that you have a checklist of the things that you should look for in a good contractor and siding option. This will ensure that you are aware of all the things that a reliable contractor should have and provide. This also goes for the rustic siding materials that you would select.
Take your time in planning your rustic siding installation project so that you can hire the best contractor for the job. Taking your time will allow you to make better decisions since you can check your checklist and ensure that all that you are looking for are present in the company that you are hiring as well as the siding material that you chose.
Start the Planning Process Now
A good way to get started is to request for quotes from the best installers in your area that specialize in rustic siding. In this video, This Old House general contractor Tom Silva shares his secrets for working with fiber-cement siding.
Steps: 1. When cutting fiber-cement siding with circular saw, use a blade that has only four or six teeth. 2. To keep dust to a minimum, use a circular saw that's equipped with either a dust-collection bag or electric fan that blows dust into a bucket. 3. For a slow, but virtually dustless way to cut siding, use power shears. Shears are available as a dedicated tool or as an attachment for a drill/driver. 4. When installing fiber-cement siding, always leave a gap at the ends of each length of siding. 5. Apply caulk to the joint before and after installing the siding. 6. Install flashing at all end joints where two pieces of siding butt together. Be sure the flashing overlaps the siding course below. 7. Leave a small gap at butt joints and fill with caulk. 8. If hand-nailing fiber-cement siding, use hot-dipped galvanized nails and drive the nails into the wall studs. 9. Drive the nail heads flush to the siding, not below the surface. 10. If using a pneumatic nailer, choose ring-shank stainless-steel nails and adjust the depth setting to drive the nails flush with the surface.
