Two-year-old DJ AJ has become a viral phenomenon on South Africa's social media.
At first it seems like a fluke - a 2-year-old playing with the knobs and buttons of a sophisticated music system. Yet, the pint size boy is in control of the beat of the bass-heavy house music. He is South Africa's youngest disc jockey, DJ Arch Jr.
At a shopping mall appearance, a crowd gathers around the young boy as he bops his head to the beat, his large headphones slipping off. Adults whip out their cellphones to capture the moment while children just stare.
Oratilwe Hlongwane is still learning to put together words but the toddler is already able to select and play music from a laptop and has become a viral phenomenon on South Africa's social media.

Oratilwe Hlongwane, better known as DJ Arch Jr is making waves.
His mother, Refiloe Marumo, credits his father's decision to buy an iPad for his then unborn son. Glen Hlongwane planned to download educational apps to speed up his child's education. Hlongwane, a gymnastics coach and aspiring DJ, also downloaded a disc jockeying app for himself.
At about a year old, DJ Archlearned how to manipulate the gadget. Not satisfied with number recognition games, he began to fiddle with his father's DJ app.

The decks are clear for IDFC to start private sector bank operations, as IDFC Bank with 20 branches from this October, following shareholders nod for a demerger process.
IDFC shareholders will get one share of IDFC Bank for each share of the infrastructure finance company. They unanimously approved the 'Scheme of Arrangement' at a meeting in Chennai. Its share closed higher at Rs 176, about 2.3 per cent over the previous close on the BSE.
On completion of the demerger, IDFC Financial Holding Company, a fully owned subsidiary of IDFC, will have 53 per cent stake in the bank. The rest would be held by IDFCs shareholders.
IDFC Bank will start with about 20 branches, of which six will be in tier-I cities and around 15 in tier-VI ones. Another finance company, Bandhan Financial Services, which also got a licence from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to start a private bank, plans to commence operations in September.
For IDFC, the demerger will provide greater financial strength and flexibility, and access to greater funds and resources. With a balance sheet size of Rs 70,000 crore, the bank will have a loan book of Rs 50,000 crore. The loan book of IDFC will be transferred to IDFC Bank.
It has said it would create a bimodal bank, to serve both India, the urban and semi-urban population, and Bharat, the under-penetrated regions and unbanked section of the population.
A nine-year plan has been prepared. The first phase, spread over three years, would focus on RBI compliance and experimentation of the business model. It includes the 18-month period till end-September 2015 for pre-launch work and to meet regulatory norms.

Shareholders approve IDFC's demerger scheme
There's not a whole lot to do in prison, so inmates spend a fair amount of time playing cards.
For several years, law enforcement officials around the country have been putting that prisoners' pastime to good use. They've been putting facts and photos from unsolved crimes in front of prisoners' eyes by printing them on decks of cards, hoping to generate leads.
Colorado is the latest state to produce the cold case cards. Cold case analyst Audrey Simkins of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation tells NPR's Tamara Keith the department has put out one set of cards and is creating two more for release next month.
"A program that allows the case to be seen and viewed by a lot of people who may have input or information really just gets the case moving forward and allows the investigators to work on whatever leads may come in," Simkins says.
Colorado has nearly 1,600 cold cases, which they define as cases that are unsolved 3 years after the crime, she says. Officials sifted through those cases to find the most likely candidates for a photo and description to print on the cards' faces.
The decks are generating tips, although none of the cases on the first deck have been solved since the cards were issued in the fall, she says.
"We've gotten about four dozen tips so far," Simpkins says. "I think the fact that the phones are ringing and information's coming in where it wasn't before is a huge success for us."
The program is also good for victims' families, she says.
"With the cases being cold and resources being a little bit slim in places, that just their case being mentioned or featured in something like this is huge for them. It reminds them that their loved one isn't forgotten."
