A historic marker now stands outside the home of legendary FAMU Coach Jake Gaither.
We were the first to tell you about restoration efforts at the coach's home and now one Rattler's dream of a museum there, is a reality.
"The brick house was the home of the legendary Florida A&M University football coach Alonzo 'Jake' Gaither and his wife, Sadie," the marker reads.
This historic marker now stands in the front yard at 212 Young street in Tallahassee. It was the long time home of legendary coach Jake Gaither.
"Jake Gaither's career spans from 1937 to 1973."
His yard was once again filled with players, coaches and Rattler fans - just as it was on Saturday afternoons in the 50's and 60's.
"Oh, was it a time, it was. It was like a celebration all of the time, because winning was winning, and we knew how to win," former assistant coach Bobby Lang said.
"Coach Gaither was something special to all of us - very special. We dropped the name coach and we started calling him 'daddy," former player Rudy Givens recalled.
Tallahassee builder Cornelius Jones bought the house and expected to flip it and sell it, but ran a reverse when he realized this was Gaither's home.

AMITY TWP., Pa. -
A home that nearly burnt to the ground after a fierce fire has a colorful history in Berks County.
A Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal was back on scene Thursday in the 600 block of Monocacy Creek Road in Amity Township. Restoration crews spent the day boarding up the doors and windows.
The house was left gutted by a two-alarm fire Wednesday afternoon, and it's now the focus of an active investigation.
"It was built in 1895, essentially for Sunday school purposes," said George M. Meiser IX, a local historian.
Before smoke and flames attacked the home, itused to be the site of scouting events, chicken dinners and civic meetings.
"It was a community center at a time when there were no community centers. That was it," said Meiser, who addedmembership dwindled over the years, and it was eventually converted into a residence.
According to officials, the owner was not home at the time of the fire and the structure isuninhabitable.
Fire tore clear through the roof and walls, and a burntstove near the back of the home showed its intensity.
"Our neighbor, over here, even their water smells like smoke," said Sandra Shantz, who lives a few doors down. "They have a lot of smoke damage in their home."

The Australian Government has announced it will officially go ahead with a $1 billion project ro replace the 1980s mainframe-driven IT that processes national Centrelink payments.
The Centrelink IT conundrum has played out on the public stage for the past six months as a chorus of government ministers offered their support to the proposal.
Last October the Government commenced a large-scale review into the welfare system to decide whether to proceed with anestimated $1 billion to $1.5 billionreplacement.
In the days following the release of the review's recommendations - which formally endorsed the overhaul - the Department of Human Services confirmed that a business case two years in the making had been submitted to government.
Since then a series of ministers have publicly acknowledged the inevitability of the expenditure, but did not go as far as to confirm the Governments funding committment.
Social Services Minister Scott Morrison today announced federal cabinet had signed off on the project in time for the 2015 budget.
A spokesperson for Morrison said the Government had not yet made a specific dollar funding commitment to the project.
"This 30-year-old system consisting of 30 million lines of code and undertaking more than 50 million daily transactions is responsible for delivering around $100 billion in payments to 7.3 million people every year," Morrison said in a statement.
"Investing in a new system will boost efficiencies and help advance many welfare reforms - you can't fix the system if you can't change the engine which drives the system and makes it work. The efficiencies it creates will also mean the new system will pay for itself over time."
Human Services will "immediately" establish a project team with a view to going to market for a new platform early in the next financial year, department minister Marise Payne said.

MULBERRY --
The city of Mulberry can finally turn the page on a water-soaked room inside its city's civic center.
After months of cleaning out mold and water in the civic center, the city has remodeled the lower level of the building and turned it into the new home for the Mulberry Public Library.
It's a transformation for the books.
"Over the years, they had water seeping in, and we ended up with the mold issue," said Sherry Schiler, the library's director.
Now, it's a place Schiler said she can be proud of.
"We got a grant (and) had it totally remodeled," she said. "Everything in the older building was taken out. All of asbestos tiles everything was taken down to the bare walls and then they had mold-removing machines in here."
The new 4,300-square-foot library is the perfect place for people like Kim Duke and her daughter, Kenzie, who is maximizing the new space.
"I love to read and, at school, we have prizes for getting a certain amount of points," Kenzie Duke said. "So, I come to check out books."
Vicki Pritt is doing the same. She said the old library was too small. The new one, however, is the perfect fit for the city.

Jimmy John's to double in size
BY GRACE PATERAS | MARCH 27, 2015 5:00 AM
Customers hoping to sit and enjoy their lunch or dinner at Jimmy Johns will soon have more space to do so.
Jimmy Johns, 130 E. Washington St., is in the process of expanding the restaurant and remodeling. The new shop, doubled in size, will take the space where Domby, a boutique shop, used to be.
Having bigger space allows more people to come in and enjoy their lunch here, said Dale Anderson, the Jimmy Johns general manager. It will free up a lot of congestion here, because right now its just one long room.
Anderson said customers sometimes feel crowded in the shop when the restaurant is busy.
Especially at night, when you get a huge crowd of people here, people are walking to get their sandwiches, he said. People are also with their sandwiches trying to leave. This should free up a lot of that congestion.
University of Iowa sophomore Domini Genovese said she goes to eat at Jimmy Johns a few times a week but usually takes her meal to go. She said her and her friends have discussed how small the seating area currently is, and they would be more likely to eat there if there were more seats.
Its really tight, and its really inconvenient, Genovese said. Theres not a lot, so its very limited to eat there.
Another Jimmy Johns customer agreed. UI freshman Anna Sweeney said she goes to the restaurant once a week, whether she eats it there or takes it to go.
