Preference for Eco-Friendly Roofing Solutions Drives the Global Roofing Market, According to New Report by Global …

    - January 13, 2015 by Mr HomeBuilder

San Jose, California (PRWEB) January 13, 2015

Follow us on LinkedIn Roofing, defined as an upper structure of a building, is designed to provide protection against heat, cold, rain and other environmental elements. Asphalt shingles, wood, tile, slate, and metal represent conventional roofing materials that are commonly used in most constructions. Urban sprawl, caused by the migration of population from rural to urban areas and the resulting pressure on housing infrastructure is helping spur demand opportunities in the roofing market. Cities are increasingly being built to accommodate their growing population, with about 7 out of 10 people in the world projected to live in cities by 2050. In addition to urbanization, the market is also poised to benefit from technology innovations targeted at improving energy efficiency and eco-friendly attributes of roofing products.

Rising standard of living, particularly in developing countries, is encouraging building renovation projects, while tightening safety regulations worldwide are triggering the need to replace old roofs with newer advanced roofing solutions. All of these factors bode well for market growth in the medium-term. Green building certifications are spurring the need for eco-friendly roofing, given that the building sector accounts for about 40% of total energy consumption worldwide. Rising air pollution, loss of biodiversity and urban heat island effect are leading governments across the world to focus on green roofs as a means to reduce environmental degradation. Green roofs aid in reduction of solar heat absorption, elimination of pollutants from air, and provide superior acoustic insulation. Especially poised to gain are eco-friendly roofing products, such as, light coloured tiles and membranes; roofing products made from recycled materials; integrated photovoltaic roofing; vegetative roofs; and advanced shingles made from fibreglass technology.

As stated by the new market research report on Roofing, Asia-Pacific represents the largest and the fastest growing market worldwide with a CAGR of 8.1% over the analysis period. Steady economic growth, robust construction activity, growing population, expanding middle class, and increasing investments in industrial and public infrastructure, represent key factors driving growth in the region. Asphalt Shingles represents the largest product market, while metal roofing ranks as the fastest growing sector with a CAGR of 5.8% over the analysis period.

Key players covered in the report include American Hydrotech Inc., Atlas Roofing Corporation, Braas Monier Building Group S.A., Etex Group, GAF, Icopal A/S,Johns Manville, MONIER Group Services GmbH, Owens Corning, Royal Group Inc., CertainTeed Corporation, Sika Sarnafil Inc., SIG Plc., The Garland Company Inc., and The Rockwool Group, among others.

Heres almost all the new gear, missions, and more in Destinys second DLC, House of Wolves

    - January 13, 2015 by Mr HomeBuilder

Destinys second expansion,House of Wolves, doesnt have anofficial release date (rumors suggestits out on March 10. 2015), but the savvy fan community has managed to dig up a bunch of details on what shape it takes. Before we go any further, take note that none of this is actually confirmed and any or all of it might be subject to change.

That said, we just got back from CES week in Las Vegas, and in the spirit of all the gambling that happened wed say thatthe broad strokes you see here (at the very least) are a safe bet.

A 4chan user put together a graphic (via Reddit) that summarizes everything known, complete with what appear to be in-game thumbnail previews of all the items listed. This includes all raid weapons and armor, all exotic weapons and armor, all legendary armor and class items available from the Tower vendor, and all ships, plus a few other bits and pieces that well look at individually. It should be noted that the image doesnt include any non-raid legendary weapons. That doesnt mean there wont be any inHouse of Wolves, but no ones discovered anything yet.

There are also three sections that dont relate to gear. One, labeled Banks, lists Shader Collection, Ship Collection, and Special Emblem Collection, which suggests thatHouse of Wolves will expand the in-game vault which lets you share gear between your own characters to include these three new storage silos (shaders, ships, and emblems are all stored in the same place right now).

Related:Destiny is Digital Trends game of the year for 2014

A Crucible section focuses onHouse of Wolves competitive multiplayer mode additions. Four new maps are coming Thieves Den (Venus), Black Shield (Phobos), Widows Court (Earth), and The Timekeeper (Mars) as well as some new hardcore mode variants that appear to connect to each ofDestinys three Crucible factions.

Finally, an Activity section runs through all of the additions to the PvE side of the game inHouse of Wolves. Heres where the spoiler-averse should take note: The list includes quest descriptions for each of the three story quests, as well as the new Strike and the new Raid. For those that would rather just know the raw stats, read on and dont enlarge the image below.

In terms of raw numbers, youre looking at three new story missions, one new Strike, and one new Raid. Much likeThe Dark BelowDLC and its Crotas Bane Reputation rankings earned from completing Eris Morn bounties, it looks likeWolves follows suit with a newReef Bounty system. The DLC also adds a new level 28 Vanguard Dragon option to the Strike Playlists menu (a space is already reserved for it in the game right now).

There are plenty more details for eagle-eyed fans to pore over, and you can do just that by checking out this imgur link (or the Reddit source link at the top). All of this info was compiled by the images creator, MattWGordon, and pulled out of data mined by the communities at DestinyTracker, DestinyDB, and DestinyPlanet.
