Normally reserved for her private interior design clients, the San Francisco-based designer is available for a range of custom styling. Her expertise include stunning floral, tree, and wreath design, festive seasonal home decor, and fabulous holiday tablescapes.

Lawanna Cathleen brings a decade of principal design expertise and an impressive pedigree to her seasonal styling offerings. Lawanna is the youngest designer ever to be featured on the cover of CA Homes magazine, and she has worked with a range of clients, from glamorous fashion designer Jessica McClintock to modern Silicon Valley CEOs. In addition to holiday styling, Lawanna is also thrilled to announce that she is selected to participate in this years Jingle & Mingle Designer Wreath Auction, featuring wreaths from some of the West Coasts top designers in a festive holiday setting. In honor of this years Great Gatsby theme, Lawanna will be presenting a Chrysler Building-inspired creation that promises to wow among a collection of designer wreaths.

Slated for Thursday, December 4th from 6:30pm until late at The Presidios Golden Gate Club, Jingle & Mingle benefits Children of Shelters (COS), a San Francisco based 501c3 nonprofit organization working to provide support and education for children living in or being served by the homeless shelter system. Lawannas wreath will help provide unique educational opportunities, cultural experiences and enrichment activities for children.

Designer Beds for Charity Campaign kicks off

The art of sleep with Sealy Posturepedic

Bed manufacturer Sealy is calling on New Zealanders to get in to bed for a good cause this October.

For the second consecutive year, Sealy is supporting the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation (NZBCF) with help from four leading creative local talents.

Masters in their own fields, Artist ASKEW ONE (Elliot ODonnell), fashion designers Denise LEstrange-Corbet from WORLD and Juliette Hogan, along with interior designer LeeAnn Yare have now mastered the art of sleep by designing a bespoke fabric panel for a Sealy Posturepedic Exquisite bed.

The four Exquisite beds will be listed on TradeMe between 15 and 28 October with the entire proceeds donated to the NZBCF to help fund research and support women with breast cancer.

Each fabric panel is very different with designs ranging from bright polka dots and monochrome to pastel chevrons and fine art geometric prints.

Sealy NZ marketing manager Jenni Gaze says, We are thrilled to be working with these exceptional artists and really appreciate the time and skill that has gone in to creating the designs. For the second year running, we have some talented individuals working alongside us on the campaign and we are really looking forward to watching the auctions on Trade Me.

We are proud to be associated with such a deserving charity. Sealy and the NZBCF both believe in the importance of wellbeing and sleep is an integral part of that, Ms Gaze says. Were eager to see New Zealanders get behind such a worthwhile cause, knowing the proceeds will benefit a significant number of New Zealand women.

Designer Beds for Charity Campaign kicks off

Heather Hach has sold her home in Hancock Park for $2.675 million.

Called Villa di Serenita, the Mediterranean/Spanish-style house retains its 1928 charm but includes such modern updates as solar-powered electrical and wiring for electric vehicles. Details include vaulted beamed ceilings, colorful tile stair risers and hardwood floors.

The two-story house is entered through a flagstone courtyard with a fountain. Within the 3,604 square feet of living space are a two-story foyer, a den/office, a library, four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

French doors open to a swimming pool and a spa in the backyard.

Hach wrote the screenplays for Freaky Friday (2003) and What to Expect When You're Expecting (2012) and the libretto for the 2007 musical Legally Blonde. She also appeared on the MTV series Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods.

The writer paid $2.899 million for the property in 2007, public records show.
