The gazebo has traditionally been an architectural focal point to enhance and enliven spectacular garden settings of grand estates. Today the gazebo is embracing a more wide spread use by property owners of all sizes as well as serving as a wedding pavilion for many hotels and resorts.

A&M Victorian's cast stone gazebos feature a cast stone dome that is manufactured in six sections for ease of installation. This eliminates the need for a crane on site thus avoiding possible damage to existing grounds. A concrete foundation is required at the site per local building codes and is not included in the price of the gazebo.

A&M Victorian's cast stone gazebos are available in a variety of styles, sizes and colors. The inside diameter of our gazebos is between 10 to 12 feet and the average height is 13 feet including the dome and dome band which are 25" and 12" respectively. All gazebos come with six columns which are approximately 11" in diameter. Plain or fluted columns may be used either set directly on the concrete foundation or set up on plinths. The space between the columns may be filled with a cast stone seating area or cast stone balustrades per individual preference.

In addition to their cast stone gazebos, A&M Victorian Decorations also carries an impressive hand carved marble gazebo as shown below. This beautiful gazebo comes with a wrought iron dome and features six spiral columns which sit on pedestals with a seating area between five of the columns. This gazebo is 15 feet in height and 12 feet in diameter and also requires a concrete foundation at the site per local building codes.

This book is the answer when youre looking for a genuine way to improve your life with feng shui. If youre looking for a book that provide quick fix solutions simply by moving your furnitures, clearing your clutters and placing symbols, this book is not for you. Feng shui is much more deep than just an art of placement (which is normally last on the list). You will have to read this book from chapter one and do the excercises to fully understand the whole concept. Its time consumming but its well worth the time. Have you seen a lot of Feng Shui books that the author has spent the time to set up exercises so that the readers can have a solid understanding of whats being said? Theres no second book on the market that shares with you so much knowledge (including enhancements and countermeasures) for such little price. Of course this is not a book for a lazy person. There is a lot of information (no fancy colored photos nor fancy printing paper) and you will find yourself reading the book over and over again and still find new information each time. I have read so many books on Feng Shui that are in English and this book by far is only one that I recommend. The method of working the flying stars that Eva shows in the book is the most widely used by practioners in Asia and is the most sophisticated tool of Feng shui. Buy this book if youre serious about Feng shui. The title A Master Course in Feng Shui really gives this book justice. The book is not just for entertainment, it really is a home-study course that will give you enough confidence to work on your own Feng shui. I am ever grateful to Dr. Eva Wong for her graciousness for sharing her invaluable knowledge on Feng Shui. El feng shui (chino tradicional: ,chino simplificado: ,pinyin: fng shu, pronunciacin mandarn: [fwi], (literalmente viento y agua) es un ancestral sistema chino de esttica que pretende utilizar la doctrina taosta para ayudar a mejorar la vida.

El feng shui es una forma de geomancia desarrollada en China. Originalmente era una forma de conocimiento que estudiaba los cambios que ocurren en la naturaleza, el clima y los astros. Los orgenes del feng shui varan segn las fuentes. Por un lado toma la simbologa del I ching (o libro de los cambios). Por otro, incorpora los cinco elementos (wu xing).

En la China imperial, el feng shui era un asunto de estado y solo las construcciones imperiales y de algunos nobles tenan acceso a esta aplicacin. Por eso, se la llamaba aplicaciones de emperadores y reyes. Incluso se aplicaba a la ubicacin y orientacin de las tumbas (yin zhai, o vivienda de los muertos). A partir de la instauracin de la repblica, el feng shui (junto con otras prcticas tradicionales de la cultura china) fue prcticamente prohibido. Es as que los centros actuales de difusin del feng shui no se encuentran en China, sino en Hong Kong, Taiwn y Malasia. En la ltima dcada del siglo XX con el auge de la Nueva era el feng shui se ha popularizado enormemente y su prctica y enseanza se ha extendido por casi todo el mundo.

El feng shui se basa en la existencia de un aliento vital o chi cuyo flujo se ve modificado por la forma y disposicin del espacio, las orientaciones (puntos cardinales) y los cambios temporales. Algunas escuelas de feng shui ponen el nfasis en el estudio de las formas: las montaas, los ros, la estructura de la vivienda o lugar de trabajo, la ubicacin del bao, cocina, habitacin, y el resto de los espacios de la casa; etc. hasta la colocacin de los muebles. Otras escuelas enfatizan en cambio el uso de la brjula. Tambin se utiliza un sistema derivado del Cuadrado Mgico del I-Ching para calcular las "Estrellas Voladoras", representadas por el movimiento cclico del tiempo en relacin a los emplazamientos. aunque en la actualidad la tendencia es considerar tanto la forma como la orientacin y el clculo de las Estrellas Voladoras conjuntamente como se haca en la antigedad.

La forma de las montaas o el paisaje en general se describe sobre la base de los llamados guardianes celestiales: el Dragn, el Tigre, la Tortuga, el Fnix y la Serpiente. Estos nombres derivan de antiguas constelaciones que dividan el cielo en cinco sectores, como est representado en el L Hsu o Mapa del Ro Lo (que apareci en el lomo de un Caballo mitolgico con cabeza de Dragn) de all el adjetivo de celestiales. Los cinco guardianes se disponen en forma de cruz; la Tortuga atrs, el Fnix delante, el Dragn a la izquierda, el Tigre a la derecha y la Serpiente en el Centro, es el ms importante ya que representa como referencia, a quien est dirigido todo el estudio. La localizacin ideal es aquella que tenga una Tortuga ubicada hacia el lado del que provienen los vientos ms intensos y agua en el lado opuesto (Fnix); ya que el viento (feng) dispersa el chi mientras que el agua (shui) lo acumula. El geomante adems debe encontrar al Dragn, una figura mtica relacionada con el movimiento del agua y del viento (el Espritu del emplazamiento). La niebla matinal, por ejemplo, representa el aliento del Dragn: all donde tarda ms en dispersarse es donde las condiciones para la acumulacin del chi son mejores. El estudio se completa hallando las lneas llamadas venas del Dragn y ciertos puntos especiales sobre estas venas llamados el nido del Dragn.

Segn el Zang shu (libro de las sepulturas), escrito por Guo Pu (276-324) durante la Dinasta Jin,[1] la energa chi se dispersa cuando viaja a travs del viento y termina al encuentro del agua. Si este flujo de la energa termina en el agua que contiene el cuerpo sera perfecto, porque toda esa energa se queda en nuestro ser y trae mejor salud y felicidad.

Por otro lado el feng shui considera cuidadosamente las orientaciones, ya que de cada punto cardinal emana una energa determinada. La interpretacin de estas energas se basa primariamente en el smbolo llamado ba-gua (ocho trigramas).

Algunos edificios famosos creados conforme a los principios del feng shui son, entre otros:

Si bien la prctica popular del feng shui apela a ciertos objetos como mviles, campanas, estatuas, Budas, dragones, tigres, bolas de cristal, flautas chinas, bambes, piedras, etc., para algunos practicantes del feng shui clsico estos objetos no afectan al chi y no estn dentro del mbito de feng shui.

La idea del yin yang es fundamental para el feng shui, que es la idea de opuestos sin oposicin. Son complementarios y se necesitan mutuamente para existir. Los cambios constantes de interaccin de yin y yang da lugar a la infinita variedad de patrones de la vida.[2] La siguiente tabla subraya la necesidad bsica de cada principio.

En este ltimo tiempo, la gente ha estado incorporando a su decoracin estas bellas plantas, el Bamb de la Suerte.Pero, por qu lo llaman as? cmo podemos beneficiarnos?

Es una planta muy fcil de cuidar y de conseguirla en cualquier local deobjetos para el hogar o supermercados. Como todas las plantas sanas, simboliza el crecimiento y nuevos inicios en nuestra vida, adems de queen este caso, esconsiderada una cura en el Feng Shui.

Fuego: en china suelen atarle una cinta roja pararepresentar este elemento.

Tierra: las rocas que trae la planta o la tierra de la maceta.

Metal: la maceta de vidrio, cermica o metal. Algunos atan una moneda china junto a la cinta roja para tener presente este elemento.

Lo adecuado sera hacer el Mapa Ba-gua de nuestro hogar y colocar cantidad de varas que necesitemos para fortalecer un espacio.
