Seattle band Fences go to the picturesque Pacific Northwest for their brand-new music video for Arrows and run into a Grammy winner.

The Jason Koenig and John Keatley-directed clip opens with Fences frontman Christopher Mansfield dressed as a lumberjack out in front of a small yellow shack with white snow-capped mountains in the background. From there, its like a four-and-a-half minute Wes Anderson clip.

After a rather picturesque train ride, collaborator Macklemore appears in a tiger cage wearing a vintage velvet lapelled-suit to drop a verse about the pitfalls of love while navigating fame before getting shot by an arrow.

Cant hit those brakes/This is what you wanted, huh? he raps. But you got it all in vain cause you forgot who you are/Right as the world learned your name it goes.

Before the video closes with a dedication to the memory of Speedo, the Grammy-winning rapper leaps from the high dive into a swimming pool filled with magazine covers emblazoned with his face.

Arrows is the lead single for Fences major label debut LP, Lesser Oceans, which is slated to hit retailers on October 14.

Macklemore Meets Wes Anderson In This New Video From Fences

A RUBBISH collection truck left a trail of debris after ploughing through parkland, fences and into the yard of a North Toowoomba scaffolding business.

A witness said the JJ Richards and Sons skip bin truck was travelling south on Ruthven St when it was involved in a collision with a car at the intersection of North St.

The truck then brought down tree branches as it travelled downhill through a park beside an electrical substation, across Isaac St, through two fences and into a pile of scaffolding supplies.

It appeared to have brushed the front a Mitsubishi Pajero parked near the front of Toowoomba Scaffolding Hire and Sales.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 4.23pm.

Bystanders rushed to help the truck driver, who was lifted from his vehicle on a stretcher before being taken by ambulance to Toowoomba Hospital.

Witness Kieron Canning was leaving work when he saw the truck go past him.

"He just come through the fence and then ran into the pile of scaffold," Mr Canning said.

"Everyone just ran up and helped him out."

He said the truck was moving quickly enough to jump a steep gutter on Isaac St.

The Seattle-based band Fences has teamed with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for its latest video, to accompany the song Arrows.

The video, shot in Seattle over the course of a week, is the fourth that director Jason Koenig has shot for the hip-hop duo, including its mega-hit Can't Hold Us and a remix for Otherside, the latter also featuring Fences.

In a statement, Macklemore called the video "our baby. And we raised that baby. ... Dozens of all-nighters and studio sleep overs to make sure that kid was the best it could be before we put it out into the world."

Road work will close Grove Street from Route 35 to Old Quarry Road on Tuesday morning, Aug. 12, and Ledges Road will likely close in the afternoon.

The road work milling of the road surface in advance of paving it is expect to go from 7 a.m. to about noon.

Paving of the two roads is planned later in the week, probably starting Thursday, depending on the weather.

During Tuesdays milling, work crews will allow travelers limited access to commercial buildings off Grove Street, as well as the rear entrance-exit to Casagmo.

Casagmo traffic will be expected to enter the condominium complex via the Main Street driveway, but will be allowed to exit via the Grove Street driveway although there may be a wait.

Were going to keep it open as long as we possibly can, said Highway Department Foreman Dave Buccitti.

When were working right in front of their driveway, itll be closed off.

The milling work is an operation that moves down the street, so the waits shouldnt be too long, he said.
