This charming brick-and-beam condo sits on a quiet street at the edge of the North End just two blocks from the waterfront.
The two-bedroom unit at 108 Fulton St., part of a five-unit building, had a major makeover in 2008 including a renovated kitchen and two redone bathrooms. The current owners have added halogen track lighting and overhead fans in most rooms.
The brick, former warehouse building built in 1900 was converted to condos in 1979, keeping its original industrial wood front door. Carpeted hardwood stairs lead up to the units.
Unit 2 opens into a hallway with a clothes closet and to the right sits a large open kitchen/dining/living area with wood-beam ceilings, brick walls and oak floors.
The halogen-lit kitchen was completely redone six years ago with cherrywood cabinets, many with glass fronts, a stainless-steel double sink, granite countertops with black tile backsplash, and an island with a breakfast bar that seats three. High-end stainless steel appliances include a Sub-Zero refrigerator, Thermador gas stove and an Asko dishwasher.
The dining/living area has more halogen track lighting and an overhead fan along with two windows.
Behind the dining room is a small bedroom, currently used as a home office, that has a window but no closet.
Off the kitchen sits a full ceramic-tile bath with a pedestal sink and a tiled walk-in shower with a glass door and marble bench. A closet in this room holds a stacked Kenmore washer and dryer.
At the end of a long hallway is a good-sized master bedroom suite. The bedroom has two windows, hardwood floors, halogen lighting and a ceiling fan. Theres an en-suite bathroom with white Carrara marble floors and walls around a whirlpool tub. Theres also two pedestal sinks. Adjacent is a large walk-in closet with built-in wardrobe storage.
Theres additional storage in a private closet in the basement.

Putin has cultivated strong ties with Patriarch Kirill, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, adopting more conservative policies and prompting some critics to suggest the line separating state and church has become blurred.
At a meeting on Thursday with Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and top administrators of the Kremlin site, Putin said his plan would involve tearing down a building used for administrative purposes to restore the site's "historic appearance".
Putin gave no indication of the costs of construction. Russia's economy is teetering on the brink of recession and faces reduced access to foreign capital after the West imposed sanctions overMoscow's policies in Ukraine.
The Kremlin, a fortified landmark sprawling across 28 hectares in central Moscow and home to the president's office and his administration, has seen many attacks in its six-century history and has come to symbolise Russia's enduring power.
"Here is the idea ... to restore the historic appearance of the place with two monasteries and a church, but giving them, considering today's realities, an exclusively cultural character," the Kremlin's website quoted Putin as saying.
UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE
Putin said the plan hinged on winning the support of the Russian public and UNESCO, the United Nations' cultural agency. The Kremlin, built between the 14th and 17th centuries, is a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The monasteries and the church were torn down in 1929-1930, a time of religious persecution under the rule of Communist dictator Josef Stalin, to make space for the administrative building that has been undergoing refurbishment since 2011.
"I do not insist on anything, it's an idea, a proposal," said Putin, who enjoys popularity ratings of more than 80 percent since Russia annexed Ukraine's Crimea. "If the public deems it appropriate then all needs to be worked out calmly."

Area business helping young boy who is battling cancer
A business based in Clarks and Bradshaw, Brite Express Carpet Cleaning, is helping a young Stromsburg boy who is battling cancer.
Four-year-old Silas McGreggor goes to a Omaha hospital for leukemia treatments every week, creating a financial burden for the family, according to Henry Sobotka of Bradshaw, who is co-owner of Brite Express Carpet Cleaning, along with Sue Sobotka of Clarks.
