STAMFORD, UK Sooner or later, you had to know this was coming. A former plumber gone YouTube sensation from the UK has finally created what every scifi-loving, comic book, techno-geeks has been dreaming of for years: real, functioning Wolverine claws. And its clear hes happy about it.
The brains behind these dynamic, and clearly dangerous, claws is Colin Furze.
Its one of them things that really, you watch these videos, Superman, whatever, and you come out of the theater thinking, wouldnt it be cool to be able to do that, Furze told us over Skype. And Wolverines claws, Ive seen people attempt it in the past, but I dont think anyones really nailed it.
Within 24 hours of posting the video on YouTube, it already had nearly a million hits. But thats nothing new to this guy. Colin has been building crazy gadgets for YouTube fans for years, including the jet-powered bicycle and the worlds fastest mobility scooter, clocking in at an amazing 70-miles-per-hour.
The YouTube success has earned the wack-a-doodle plumber enough money to quit his job and make crazy creations full time. And before you ask, no the Wolverine claws are not for sale. But he says he has something even bigger in store to show his YouTube fans next week.
Its kind of bizzare, Furze says, trying not to give it away. Its more funny, because the claws are like, visually really impressive, this ones probably got a little bit of a comedic approach to it, but its still pretty cool. Then the third one youre going to love the third one. And by the way, we asked and believe it or not, captain crazy does have a girlfriend.

Porches are covered, walled and often partially enclosed. Old-fashioned porches once brought to mind senior citizens in rocking chairs, but anyone can enjoy a porch.

Whether soothing a baby to sleep in a porch swing, reading on a chaise lounge, or entertaining guests, a porch offers a sheltered experience of the outdoors.
Ceilings and walls make a porch an enclosed space. On a patio, you have the option of walls if you want and not if you don't. Some patios create walls with hedges or vine-clad fences, or get shelter from an overhanging roof.
Patios, on the other hand, are often open to the capricious sky. If yours is, and you crave a sense of enclosure, let a tree provide a leafy canopy. Market umbrellas, pergolas or awnings can also grant protection from the elements.
"The patio can become a second living room," said Laurie Jekel, owner of The Last Detail design shop. "The patio should be an extension of the house, very homey, decorated much as you would an interior."
And whether it's a porch or a patio, gardening in containers will add color and life.
