April 28, 2014: Award winning Interior designer and Dragons Den star, Kelly Hoppen MBE has taken delivery of a new British-built Vauxhall Vivaro van.

Having already put her stamp on the homes, yachts and jets of private clients, as well as commercial projects all over the world, Kelly Hoppens latest creation combines glamour with practicality. The Vivaro - the lynchpin of Vauxhalls award-winning van range has been wrapped in a bespoke taupe wrap, displaying her logo and signature.

The Vauxhall Vivaro is built in Luton, where 215 units roll off the production line per day and employs 1,300 people.

Kelly Hoppen, MBE, said; I particularly love the idea of working with British manufacturers such as Vauxhall Motors as I am an ambassador for the Business is GREAT Britain campaign, a government led initiative to build confidence amongst businesses. I loved the idea of putting my style on the van and as Ive just launched my online store, its been very useful to have the van for product deliveries.

Kelly continued, It is also clear that more and more woman are driving vans these days as they are running their own businesses. Perhaps the white van man is a thing of the past.

The Vauxhall Vivaro will promote her new online venture, Kellyhoppen.com. The luxury online store features a range of Kelly designed accessories, bed linen, cushions, candles and gifts, all carrying the stamp of the multi-award winning designers iconic neutral-yet-opulent style.

PHOENIX -- Youve probably heard of certified pre-owned cars. But what about certified pre-owned homes?

Two Valley companies, Platinum Home Warranty and Advantage Inspection Service, have teamed up to offer sellers an inspection, warranty and certification prior to listing their home.

Being a buyer, there is a lot of stress buying a home, not only finding the perfect home for yourself but one that wont cause problems when you move in, said Neil Brooks, a Realtor with Home Smart.

Brooks describes the market as flat, with most homes sitting on the market 5 months before selling.That makes it a good time to be a buyer and somewhat more challenging to be the seller.

Right now, being a seller, you have to hit all those check boxes for those buyers, said Brooks. Your home has to look right; it has to be priced right. And more importantly, it has to be in good shape.

Seller Joanie Drumwright spent $400 on the new Platinum Advantage Certified Pre-Owned Home program, aiming to set her home apart from the rest.

Anything we can do to make the process easier, we are on board to do that, said Drumwright. You can look at something from the outside, and aesthetically it looks great. But until you know and have the satisfaction that all the inner workings are working also, that's just an added security.

I remember it as if it were yesterday. It was the mid 1990s, and our Realtor, Blaise, was driving my fiancenow wifeand I around southern California in search of a home. The process was both exciting and intimidatingand primarily an offline endeavor.

Fast-forward to today, wherein the process of searching for and finding a home has been fundamentally transformed. The Internet has unlocked massive amounts of information, and smartphones have enabled buyers, sellers, brokers and agents to connect from anywhere, anytime.

Now imagine a prospective home buyer sitting in their living room and putting on a pair of glasses to attend a "showing" for a home on the other side of the country. Gone will be the bulky virtual-reality goggles of today, replaced by lightweight hardware and high-definition displays that blur the lines of what is real and what is virtual.
