NEW YORK -- Stuart Dean will launch its HardCore system for floor and wall resurfacing, restoration and protection to restaurant industry professionals for the first time at the Restaurant Facilities Management Association (RFMA) 2014 Annual Conference. Taking place Feb. 16-18, 2014 at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Conference Center in Dallas, visitors to Stuart Dean's booth (#1324) will learn about the benefits of HardCore, an advanced system that creates beautiful, durable, highly cost-effective floors and walls over new or damaged concrete and other substrates. GL-DA02 converts international DALI standard to a full range of analog dimming signals for flexible and precise indoor lighting control February 20, 2014 New Delhi, India - GlacialLight, a division of the Taiwanese technology manufacturer GlacialTech Inc., is introducing the GL-DA02 DALI interface converter to its product lineup.

As an open standard, DALI is internally recognized as the premier new lighting control interface and is cross-compatible across lighting components from different manufacturers. Highly scalable, it simplifies wiring compared to conventional lighting control systems, making installation easier and reducing maintenance costs. DALI can not only control lighting but also monitor it, allowing for intelligent lighting systems that maximize service life and save energy. Compared to legacy solutions, a DALI network is more precise and allows fine grain control over the individual components in a complete lighting system.

GlacialLights DALI Interface Convertor is fully IEC62386 (102, 206) compliant. Taking a digital DALI signal, it can output either PWM, 0-10V DC, or 1-10V DC signals and is suitable for controlling 3-in-1 (DC/PWM/Resistor) LED drivers. Dimming can be set on a linear or logarithmic curve. With a built-in relay, devices down the line can be turned off completely, giving complete lighting control and reducing energy costs.

As an indoor digital lighting control system, the GL-DA02 convertor is well suited for applications including office buildings, conference rooms, factories, and intelligent home lighting.

Make your kitchen look like new with a cabinet facelift.

Heat, water, grease and food residue can take their toll on your kitchen cabinets. And you might be surprised what a good scrubbing can do. When you're ready to clean your cabinets, have the following on hand:

Hardware (including hinges) gets greasy and dirty, too. Since you have the doors off, remove the knobs and hinges, and clean the hardware:

If you need to replace one or two pieces, take one set with you when you go to your local Lowe's. But if your cabinet hardware is older, it may be difficult to find an exact match. With all the knobs and hinges off, it's a great time to shop for new hardware. You should also take some of your old hardware along to make sure the new hardware will fit your existing doors.

When choosing the finish for your hardware, think about what style will look best in your home. If your style is traditional, brushed finishes, polished brass, nickel or pewter will complement your dcor. If you have a more contemporary dcor, choose finishes with an enameled or high-gloss-metal shine or theme hardware to blend with the overall look of the kitchen.

You can dress up drab cabinet doors with moulding. Applying a contrasting finish or color is a quick and inexpensive way to change the look of your kitchen. Keep the following safety tips in mind when you add moulding:

If your cabinets still don't look spectacular after cleaning, you may have to refinish or paint them. The cabinet-refinishing process is similar to the one for refinishing furniture.

Unless you're planning to take your cabinets down, there are a few extra things to remember.
