The model is from the brand new line of Evopower wacker compactor plate series for 2012 and is a re-design of the popular 2011 series. Weighing in at 65kg it features a compaction plate which measures 53cm x 37cm, and is a slighty larger plate size then the HDC5028, meaning that you can cover more ground in a quicker time, which will help you get the job done and more importantly cut down on your fuel consumption and labour costs. On this model, we have continued to use the bulletproof Loncin engines to drive the machine, and this compactor plate uses a 5.5hp Loncin, covered by a 2-year engine warranty. All of these characteristics make the Evopower HDC6555 the ideal compactor plate for ground work, and the new design has improved upon the reliability and also the commercial grading of this machine, so it is ideal for both DIY and higher level hobbyist use, as well as for contractors and builders.
